He averaging 5.9 rebounds a game and 1 block per game. I have no idea where that ranks with all other power forwards... all I know is that is not high-quality output for a starting power forward. The fact that he is 2nd on the team in these stats further underscores the dirth of talent on this team...and does not support Frye as a quality, NBA-starting power forward.

i don't think anyone's saying he's a quality NBA-starting power forward... just that he's better than Warrick who's atrocious.

Looks like a Jazz win tonight. PHX just doesn't have the man power to deal with all the bigs in the front court for Utah. That said, Nash could win this game if the Jazz sleep out of the gate.

Given that someone basically said you were the dumbest person alive in this very thread, I'll take that as a compliment!! :p

No, no, no. I like 82CardsGrad and you're going to drag him down the wrong path here. When I was a little kid I learned about cup sizes at around the same time I first saw the cover to the book "The Scarlet Letter". I put two and two together and told all my little friends that she was forced to wear an A on her chest because she had small boobs. I'm not calling 82 dumb, I just think his "Warrick must be better than Frye" conclusion rivaled my Scarlet Letter moment. IOW, I think he should wear a big A on his chest for being a little boob today.

Well... to be clear, I don't think I said "Warrick must be better than Frye"... I simply said I would prefer Warrick over Frye - as I just can't stand watching a 6'11" power forward clank up 3 after 3 after 3... It's just an aesthetic thing is all. I hope I made it clear that I think they both suck. I just prefer Warrick's offense to Frye's... And I really don't believe we miss much on defense with Frye out of the game as he is as soft of a power forward as exists in the NBA... or the NCAA for that matter! :D

I don't have cable. I listen to all my games on radio(there's an app for that lol), I just never listened to a suns game before. There has to be a flagship station for the suns. Does anyone else know?

Either KTAR 620AM, or KTAR 92.3FM

KTAR. If you're streaming, you might have to find an alternate carrier.

It looks like Markieff Morris is being prepped to start tonight at PF if Frye can't go. Warrick would then backup Morris. Let's wish them all luck.

Looks like we potentially could get "owned" at at least 2 spots, PF and PG:

C: Marcin Gortat … Al Jefferson
PF: Markieff Morris … Paul Millsap
SF: Jared Dudley … DeMarre Carroll
SG: Shannon Brown … Gordon Hayward
PG: Steve Nash … Devin Harris

Nash should at least offset Harris with his own production, but as usual, Nash will have trouble staying in front of his man. I don't think they can switch up and put him on Hayward, that would be bad.

I think Morris is going to play like a man tonight. The bench boys better bring it tonight, a good game from Redd would be cool but I aint holding my breath.

As I view it going into the game, the Suns starters need to play well and the bench needs to be solid. However, it will likely take one or two Suns players to go beyond this and play at the peak of their game. It could be a player(s) like Redd, Telfair, Lopez, Morris... who knows, but I think this is what it will take to get the win tonight... a huge unexpected production from a Suns player.

My son has a match tonight that starts at the same time as the Suns game tonight. So I will miss the first half. That's probably a good thing since they seem to do poorly when I pay the most attention!

Go Suns!

Be sure to deploy whatever reverse jinxes, good karma, etc. that you can tonight folks!

I haven't seen this many people posting before a Suns game in quite some time.

I'm not holding my breath but someone needs to step up huge for the Suns if they are going to win tonight... unexpected production.
