This is a game where the Suns must game plan without Gortat, not only tonight, but likely for the rest of the season. Marcus Morris and Wesley Johnson will start tonight.

Interesting to see the Morris twins start tonight with Scola at center.

It seems obvious the Suns will not be able to guard Cousins if he is fully engaged in the game.

Cousins is in for a career night if he avoids ejection and feels like breaking a sweat.

I agree, the only way for the Suns to stop Cousins is for him to self destruct.

Play fast, he'll wear down. He's not in good enough shape to dominate in a fast paced game, IMO. He'll get his numbers but he'll rest on a lot of plays.

Nice defensive play by Johnson, he out-jumped Cousins and knocked the rebound out of his hands.

Nice rebound by Beasley, again, taking advantage of a Cousins who isn't willing to give full effort on every play.

I have not watched enough of Cousins to know if he wears down so I will take your word for it.

We caught a break on that foul call. Haddadi was in the key for at least 6 seconds and traveled before the foul, IMO.

Kendall Marshall's outside shot perplexes me. It almost looks like a set push shot with a low trajectory which takes a long time and a lot of room to get it off. If there is any way to improve his shot I would have more hope for his career. IMO, if Marshall raised his arms in his shooting motion (like he was shooting a jump shot), I think he would have more success.

When I was a young kid, I shot the ball similar to Marshall because I did not have the arm strength to get the ball to the basket. Obviously this should not be the case with him.

It was interesting watching some of the guys who used to start now getting limited time in the 2nd quarter, then coming out for Johnson and Marcus to finish the half.

As I listen to the radio feed and watch the action on muted TV, Al McCoy is handling well identifying which Morris is handling the ball.

I can't help but be curious how Steve Albert is handling it.

Did the Suns get Marcus to drive Steve crazy and take off east on the I-40?

Dragic is having a very nice game with 14 points and 10 assists with about 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

Are the Maloofs struggling financially to the point that to save money they are stitching old King uniforms together?

I'm glad the Suns gave Haddadi a look. The Suns could do worse than keep him as a third center. He has 4 rebounds and 3 blocks tonight.

And I thought my graphics card was going out.

That rule that prevents the Suns from defending the 3 point line is really hurting us tonight. Surely, there must be a rule.

The Suns are consistently slow getting out on the 3 point shooters. I thought defense would be the emphasis by Hunter.

No foreign King shall influence our hemisphere. Or is that the Monroe Doctrine?
