Booker looked tired in the 4th quarter. Monty tried to rest him a couple of minutes in the 4th. That was almost enough to lose the game.

Kings are definitely more balanced than any previous Kings team within the last 15 years. Solid talent all the way around, the rookie might be their weak link to their rotation, they're missing a true #1 player.

Ayton only getting 10 FGA isn’t good. Like you said and it was mentioned in the game thread he flashed open several times and was just ignored. One thing I do notice without Paul there is no pick and role for our centers at all. No two man game in sight. Those lobs for Ayton and McGee last year are gone.

Also Booker absolutely ran the two man game with Ayton multiple times and I am pretty sure assisted on at least two of Ayton's 8 FGs in that manner.

To say it doesn't exist without Paul is simply making stuff up to fit a narrative.

Considering Ayton used to subsist on those and now there’s maybe 1 or 2 a game, yeah it virtually doesn’t exist. At least not to the extent it did with Paul. The weird thing is I remember book being better at it the last two years.

He had a great game, but he did have a good stretch in that 2nd half where he was playing some hero ball.

Thing is, I'm not going to fault him for doing so in a game where has it going like he did. If he is having an off day and taking a bunch of those shots than it's an issue, but if he knows he has that feeling like in this game than I am completely okay with it.

The key is that he didn't let his good game deter him from simply dumping the ball off when the doubles started coming late in the game.
