Suns @ Knicks Sunday game thread, 11-26-2023

The Suns play the second game of their three game road trip at the Knicks.

Phoenix is now 10-6 after beating the Grizzles in their fourth scheduled In-Season Tournament game. We will have to see if they advance

The Knicks are 8-6 but play the Heat at home later tonight.

It's nice to know Kevin Durant made the road trip so perhaps there is a chance he will play against the Knicks.

I wish I could bet on KD playing. I'd say he does, not that I want him to. He's a baller and it's MSG so I'd be surprised if he sits. The Knicks are rolling a little so we may need him for the win but I'd rather he sat. I wish I had faith in Vogel limiting him to 30 minutes or less.

Nurk doesn't match up well in New York and someone said Eubanks is still banged up - hoping small ball works or we could be SOL

Then again could be a day for others to shine like Diop and Metu

Maybe even Azubuike gets some minutes. I liked him in college, but it didn't seem to carry over to the NBA.

Metu is a blend between Nurk and Banks. Plays bulk guys like Nurk, but has enough hops to be more athletic. If we are weak at the five, we just have to take advantage ourselves where they are weak.

Maybe even Azubuike gets some minutes. I liked him in college, but it didn't seem to carry over to the NBA.

He seems like he has the measurables. Just seems like he needs more experience/coaching. Could be a good developmental guy. Like a next season option if he works out.
