I expect the refs to do their jobs, but the foul calls have been 1 sided so far. 15fts for the Lakers to 4fts for the Suns (2 of those for defensive 3 seconds).

Actually I'm pleasantly surprised. It's halftime -- so far no blood spilled and everyone's still got their teeth.

I didn't hear you complaining when they Suns had 13 more FT's than the Lakers in Game 1. This small margin right now has nothing to do with the refs, it has to do with the Lakers having more energy.

Please, you're trying to tell me that the Lakers are playing aggressive swarming yet completely clean defense? The Lakers have been called for about 3 defensive fouls and 4 offensive fouls. All of the Suns 10 fouls have been defensive and they're the lowest fouling team in the league. Besides, a 13ft discrepancy over an entire game happens all the time, but there's an 11ft discrepancy in a half right now.

It was expected. They were really embarrased Tue so they came out with all kind of energy. We just need to weather the storm. If you look at stats, the only one really they lead are rebounds and FT's. Huge offensive rebounding edge. Gotta rebound!!

Interesting that with all of this energy and confidence, they are still losing. That quarter was the Lakers' best in a long long time. They can't sustain that in the second half. They can't score 31 again and they surely won't limit the Suns to another 20 point quarter.

LA needed to build a 10+ point lead at the half to have a chance to survive the meltdown they always have late in the fourth when they tire out.
