On Sunday, the Suns travel to Los Angeles to play the Lakers.

Then on Monday, they return home to play the Raptors in the second of back-to-back games.

This starts a five game home stand for Phoenix.

The Lakers are 40-25. They have lost their last four games, all on the road, including at Denver tonight.

Phoenix is 31-36 after beating the Kings.

When: Sunday, March 16, 2025

Television: ABC/ESPN+

Radio: KMVP 98.7 / S: KSUN

Time: 12:30 PM Arizona Time

I might skip this one. No way we beat the Lakers and I don't want to see Luka grin and Book shrivel up.

I hear ya. Lakers fighting for playoff seeding and the Suns fighting for the play-in. We need 48 minutes of relentless effort. Gotta contain Luka/Reaves and hopefully Dalton Knecht (as a Tennessee Vol, I wish he wasn’t a Laker lol).

Suns usually play division teams tough. Should be a good game but Suns need to start fast.

Too many times. But I like how they played the Kings. Lots of energy with Dunn in the starting lineup, and with Oso we play better defense than with Plums since he moves better. Also Gillespie brings more energy so I think those three should get some serious time together with Booker/Beal/Durant.

Tell you what. I will read from the start of this game thread, and if it seems like things are going well, I will stop reading and put on the recording of the game. I got League Pass over here in Norway.

I don't see it on any station.

Edit: I thought it was Sunday already. Was getting depressed at going back to work! Good news! It's only Saturday! :thewave:

Nick Richards (right ankle sprain) is probable for tomorrow’s game against the Lakers. Monte Morris (low back injury management) is questionable, while Grayson Allen (left foot strain) and Jalen Bridges (two-way) remain out

Lebron is OUT for the game on Sunday.

Reminder, the game is a 12:30 start, Arizona time.

LeBron is getting a rest to be fresher for the playoffs. I wonder if a) Dunn will start on Luka, and b) how many ticky tack fouls he'll have in the first quarter. I guess at least 3. It depends on what mood Luka is in. What a gift the Lakers got. Very lucky for the league, is it not, Sliver?

Probably watching my first full game of 2025.

Might be a bit early to call this a turning point game but it sure has the makings of a defining moment for this season. My preference is to not back into the play-in but seize it.

I will say my time might be better spent cleaning my car floor mats.

Imagine paying thousands of dollars for a floor mat that doesn’t even collect dirt. Everyone talks about how the floor mats were better in 1992-93. Since then we keep buying them at the thrift store expecting better results.

WeatherTec mats solved my issue with car floor mats.

Unfortunately, I didn’t see an option on their website for the Suns

lebron is out and it's luka - so whoever luka is covering - they need to keep luka moving non-stop - he will tire and grow frustrated when his teammates don't pick up his slack on defense - it's really the best way to luka

Maybe the Suns can drive him to drink by halftime. The Mavericks PR leads me to believe it might be possible.

"if" we want to win today look for some more full court defense - even if it's just one guy - it creates turnovers and gives us time to set up - also shortens their shot clock

I'd say with go with the floor mats. At least something concrete would be accomplished.
