The surprise has been Bol Bol. He looks like he could help the team, whereas earlier in the season, I would have waived him.

I like his length, shooting and quickness at center/forward. He provides instant energy.
are the suns showcasing him for a trade?

So true! I even like his smooth jump shot. And was it my imagination, or could you feel the difference in other team's reluctance to penetrate paint when both Bol Bol and Nurk were in there defensively? I hope these recent games of his are not an anomaly.

All players are unique but there will always be another GOAT candidate sooner or later.
That doesn't mean people shouldn't enjoy Lebron when he's around. He's criticized non-stop, but he's doing something nobody has ever done before at that age, and even that incredible behind the back pass before halftime was a reflection of his otherworldly talent.

It annoys me to no end that people constantly want to run him down.

It’s silly. In his prime, there was no one else like him. And at 40, dude is STILL balling out of his mind compared to overwhelming majority of the rest of the league.

He's also 10x the person that Jordan is, yet King Jordan is beyond reproach to many hoops fans.

The Suns may have overestimated Yuta based on his play last season.

That's exactly what I meant by my earlier post. Acquiring another useless Yuta clone is precisely the most James Jones in-season trade move that he would/could make.

And then trading Bol in the deal just as he starts becoming a useful part of the rotation. Something along those lines would be par for the course.

Guys - I get that Bol had a nice game, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here...expecting Bol to be a part of any postseason rotation is pretty pie in the sky at this point.

If nothing else, Bol Bol is a distraction defensively to the opponent. He can shoot and rebound as well.

His athleticism is also a welcome change up from Nurkic.

No doubt he has been an amazing player. There are nights he still looks like he is one of the best players in the league. However, he can't do it night in and night out any longer. I think it might be time for him to consider hanging it up. I hate any player (just like I did Jordan) that hangs on too long.

I look at Bol Bol more as a specialist. He can give the Suns another look at center/forward and welcome depth upfront.

Dude -he's averaging 25/7/8 and playing almost every night! He's still one of the best players in the league! Hanging it up? Why? If I were him, I'd play until 45, even as a role player. He's earned the right to go out any way that he'd like.

dude is averaging 25/7/7. Why hang it up when you're still putting out what would be one of the best stat lines... for almost anyone... ever? You know how rare it is to average 25/7/7? I get that he's not the most dominating player in the game anymore, but he's still playing at an All-Star level and probably has a couple more good years in him before age totally takes him down.

Oh I am not saying right this minute or anything. Only that he should be thinking about the end. Go out on top. This team has seen firsthand how fast a player can fall off the proverbial cliff. I hate seeing it with some of the HOF players.

I don't know. Pretty much everybody was available for this one. If Bol keeps up his solid play, I see no reason he'd be taken out of the rotation.

Finally a well played game and entertaining to watch.

Bol did well, blocked a few shots. He's coming along,,,,just need him to JUMP to get more blocks. They should make him

use a trampoline in practice hours to get him use to springer UP off of his feet. I'd like to see him get 20 minute per game.

Why jump if you don't have to? ;)
