Posting this a little early, I live in Orlando. The Magic are my 2nd favorite team so I am a bit conflicted but I will be rooting for the Suns. Still pondering if I will go to the game tonight, I found some nice lower bowl seats for 99$ each. I really wanna go see this game in person, but my wallet says no, I also have no Suns fans around here to go with. I'll let you guys know if I end up going, and I will be taking pics.

This is the game that they lose their winning streak. Dwight Howard/Amare should be a HELLOFA matchup.

The Amare/Howard matchup is going to be fun to watch. Amare clearly took the Okeafor matchup personally and wanted to prove himself against one of the best shotblockers in the league and dunked on him or around him a couple of times. I think Amare's going to want to prove his ability again tonight by trying to dominate Howard offensively. Hopefully he'll stay out of foul trouble long enough to have a great game.

Going back to the Amare/Okeafor matchup, did you guys see when Amare tried to rise up and dunk the ball over Okeafor from about 5 ft away from the hoop like he used to do in his rookie season (when he tried to dunk over everyone). For those that didn't see it, Amare had him in the post with his back to the basket about 5 ft out and then just jumped up and extended his arm over Okeafor towards the basket. He came up about an inch or two short and hit the front of the rim, but it was still impressive. Amare jumped so quickly that Okeafor barely even reacted to it.

Amare will have to be really careful of fouling in this game against Howard. If he can avoid that he will come out on top in his Amare vs Howard game.

Magic forward Turkoglu sidelined with sprained ankle

This will help..........Turkoglu is always having good games against the Suns!

SportsTicker

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Orlando Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu will miss 10 to 14 days after suffering a Grade 2 right ankle sprain Friday night.
Turkoglu was carried off the court during the first quarter of Friday's 87-83 home loss to Detroit. He landed awkwardly on a rebound attempt with 1½ minutes remaining in the period.
A seven-year veteran from Turkey, Turkgolu is averaging 9.8 points and 3.3 rebounds this season. In his third campaign with Orlando, he is shooting a team-high 35 percent from 3-point range.
Keith Bogans started in place of Turkoglu in Saturday's game against Philadelphia but left with a sprained right ankle in the first period.

Amare is doing a nice job on defense....however, he needs to deny Howard position in the first place. He lets him walk into the lane, then tries to push him out. He needs to start covering Howard when he gets to the 3 point line.

Darko has some game

Darko's always had all the tools, he just can't put it together consistently. You look at his ability at 7'1, and you just shake your head. Equally, you shake your head at how he can be so up and down all the time.

I don't know what to feel about this game, to be honest. Howard barely played the first half, and we're only up 2. On the flip side, Darko seemed to really be winded from having to play all those minutes, so maybe he'll be tired out down the stretch. I'd look for Orlando to try and get Howard involved right away to start the second half. Amare has to do a better job pushing him out.

all this hype about Amare/Dwight and Dwight sits the whole 2nd quarter on the bench with foul trouble.

I had to pass on going to the game, couldn't find anyone to go with me :\ Let's get a double OT thriller again, where the Suns win by 1!

Uh, no thanks. I want to blow out every team we play, especially when we have a good Heat team coming up.

I'd prefer a blowout ;)

We are playing better offensively, the result is there.

Ok, Amare is back and better than ever. This is maybe the best defense I've seen him play. He is in Howards head, he's pushing him out of the lane, keeping him too far from the hoop. He's denying the entry pass, I'm very impressed. There are still things he could work on (I wish he'd pick Howard up early down the court), but he looks good.

The 3rd quarter is maybe our best of the season, we are playing good defense, Howard was never a factor in the game. Amare is a real beast now, great to see him playing so well.
