Pretty much the Nets took control of the game driving to the basket and hitting 3s to pull away in the 3rd quarter. Booker was not his usual self which made matters worse. He was in foul trouble all night and did not get the benefit of some obvious foul calls against him.
Looks like Dinwwiddie played well. What could have been and we might need an upgrade from Rubio. Wonder if you think it could at all be possible to get Dinwwiddie without breaking the bank, assuming you even think he'd be a good fit. I'll take your comments off air.

I know you didn't ask me but I'll give my 2 cents...

I can see Brooklyn dealing Dinwiddie this summer. Durant will be back next year and Kyrie has already rocked that locker room some. Dinwiddie is a part of the previous team and would be better for the Nets to hang onto than Kyrie but there's no way they trade Kyrie instead of Spencer. What they'll want in return though, I'm not sure the Suns will have. They'll need a PF to pair with KD in their frontcourt and the Suns don't have that to trade.

Sure, the Suns could trade a pick but I think they'll want veterans to appease Kyrie, who has spoken out about the youth there already. KD will likely back Kyrie in any sort of demands also since they signed as a package deal there. It puts the Nets in a bad spot, IMO.

Sorry for the delay but my computer was over heating so I had to make a switch.

I've always liked Dinwiddie but the Suns almost have their hands tied with Rubio's contract. If the Suns could trade for him I would be thrilled. I've almost come to the conclusion the Suns need a scoring point guard next to Booker but Dinwiddie would be a huge upgrade. Too bad the Suns couldn't have traded for him earlier.

The Suns need to bring in a former ref, head of officiating or something, to talk to the players. Help them learn how to communicate with refs. I think part of the reason we get the short end on most 50/50 calls is that our players come off as whining and generally ignorant as to why they even get called for things.
Isn't that part of what the coaches should be doing?

I thought Ayton was pretty solid tonight on both ends of the floor. Booker on the other hand was extremely poor and he's not going to prove his doubters wrong with performances like this. Oubre, Bridges and Ayton seemed to be the only players that showed up to play tonight from what I saw out there.

Don't know what Jones can do at this point of the season but this team needs a spark of some sort.

I see Ayton got to better than the numbers I hoped for. Didn’t get to watch second half. But also saw he shot just okay. And shocking, 2 FTs. He complained about the lack of FTs and then settled for a bunch of jumpers and didn’t take it hard to the rack at all in the first half. And his defense was atrocious in the first half. Can’t imagine it improved Mich in the second as the nets pulled away to blow them out.

and man book ain’t doing much to prove his snub was an injustice.

Finally a clean performance on both ends. Kept Booker in check. The ball was really moving around. LeVert was great on both ends. He looked a lot more explosive today. He got to his spots for the most part. Harris looks ready to lock in before the break.

Phoenix is awful though. Jesus. I heard about Ayton being allergic to contact but man, that was easily the softest 25 points I'll ever see. Not impressed by him at all. Vucevic is Shaq compared to this guy.
 I didn't want to be that guy but he's soft af. Heard him get called p**** few times during games, them players be talking trash.

From the realgm Nets forum. It's evident there's a problem here. Not just Suns fans being too hard on a young guy.

how so many people here refuse to see it is a mystery to me.

I don't care if he's in his second year. If he had a big-time ticker/motor, he'd already be running roughshod over the league already. he's that natural talented. He can get 20/12 looking like he's sleepwalking.

25/17/5/2 and people are still hand-wringing.

If Ayton takes a steady path upwards I will be pleased. Next season he will only be 22.

Some here will crow about Ayton’s numbers. But he was really a mixed bag. I only saw the first half, but he was awful defensively in the first half. Offensively he was okay, but still warranted eddie’s criticism of his lack of aggression and still only ended up with 2 FTs, so make if that what you will. I would be shocked if he was much better in the second half given the fact we went from 3 down at half to losing by 22.

He's trending in the right direction. As disappointed as I was in the suspension and the ankle injury, I'm happy that he's improving.

The question is what happens to Ayton if/when Booker forces his way out...

Yes, that is the question we should be debating.

What happens when this other thing that might happen in years, if it ever happens, happens, how are we ignoring this pressing issue?!?!
