Len needs to stop tapping the ball. Grab the damn rebound like a big man should grab a rebound!

I have to give PJ Tucker credit. He worked hard to make his first two shots. Sometimes I wonder how he can get some of those shots off inside.

The Suns need to make FTs. They are 2-6 thus far.

Thank goodness for Knight, or this would be blowout by now. Ugly game too!

Len has been playing well. He made a couple of mistakes, but overall, he's done a very good job so far.

He's been active and trying hard. Still cringeworthy when he has the ball but he's having a decent game. But not 5th pick overall decent. Id still trade him for a box of chalk.

Len is frustrating to watch. He hesitates on an open jumper, has to make a move to get closer when he can just shoot it over, or tries to fake/jab to "trick" his defender. He just needs to make a quick move with one dribble and finish strong. He still brings the ball down too low at times too.

Also when collecting a rebound he has the same tendency to bring that ball down too low.

He just needs more court awareness. If some little guys are around keep it above or at head level.

I wonder if he can palm the ball, that might be a better option too, just keep it high and away from the opposition.

He had a career game but still playing like a rookie sometimes. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

He's a young Center. He'll be making rookie mistakes for another two years at least. He blocks out, doesn't gamble much on defense, has good footwork for a big man, and he passes the ball well. He needs confidence. Nine out of ten mistakes he makes are from lack of confidence.

Not sure why he should be holding the ball high on a rebound.

Its a natural response to bring the ball down low, even for big guys, in the nba. Holding it high is not safe with all the leaping athletes. The ball held high is exposed. Bringing it low, if done correctly, allows you to shield it with your body.

Example. Bledsoe's block on Scola the other night.

Its a different matter when shooting. Keeping the ball high allows for a quicker release, therefore less likely to be blocked.
