here's an idea for fun. what would the suns new years resolutions be?

jj: i promise to be more consistent and make some plays

googs: you can have my salary, me and randy livingston have some talking to do:)

penny: i think i'll play defense this next year

marbury: maybe i should take over some games more often

marion: i promise to drive more and make my game worth my max salary

amare: i'm going to take over this team this year with my low post presence

zarko: i can hit three's, is that a resolution?:)

scott williams: i'll be a better locker room guy....(laughs)

jocobsen: resolution...i learned that at stanford i think

white: i promise to be the biggest big man in the valley since oliver miller...wait....:)

harvey: i've played good for the worst team in the east, and i'll make sure this team isn't the worst in the west.

little jake: i should pay the refs this year. they call me for fouls on everything!!!

coach d: i will help the team play 4 quarters and not give up big leads

colangelo: the suns...who plays first for them?:)

and a resolution not to be forgotten......

frank johnson: hey, i hear the cards have an opening for a coach.....:) they are young and they have an extra three mins per quarter...think of the possibilities!!!

what would the resolutions be in your eyes for the suns players?

Sounds like fun, sort of...

Marbury: deliver some new clutch shots for 2004, with better celebrations this time (i.e. no more taking a dump on the court)

Marion: figure out how to score 18+ ppg as the third option

Joe J: figure out how not to take 15+ shots per game as the fourth or fifth option

Penny: start taking Ritalin for those mental lapses, and maybe some Wellbutrin to help with the pouting

Jacobsen: fewer drives that get stuffed, more 28-footers that swish

Jahidi: invest in some stick-um...and keep up the good attitude, despite an occasional DNP

Voskuhl: plan an offseason Third World Scavenger Hunt--visit Venezuela to pick up some of Anthony Mason's footwork, and China for a little of Wang Zhi-Zhi's shooting touch

Scott Williams: send Karl Malone to IR again, just for old time's sake

Zarko: drop 100 points (total) on Dallas in the three remaining matchups, and drop Dejan Koturovic from call list to spend more time chatting up Vlade Divac

Barbosa: pick up Portuguese version of "How to play Point Guard in the NBA" by Steve Francis, learn what not to do

Donnell Harvey: write 100 times every day: "I will not go back to the Krispy Kreme diet, even after the Suns weld me to their bench in February"

Googs: purchase a new wardrobe from the NBA Draft Day collection (hint: Charles Oakley is good for a quick loan and some style tips)

Trybanski: same as Googs

Amare: buy 2005-6 calendar, circle first day allowed to sign max contract extension, start practicing signature

Coach D: stay smart, stay humble

Bryan Colangelo: convince Tiago Splitter not to bother coming to the US for workouts this spring

Frank Johnson: move to Italy, learn how to coach

The last one is too harsh, I know... :(
