Knight did not hurt his cause tonight with 17 points and 4 assists.

The good news is Warren got going. He scored 21 points and had 8 rebounds.

Now we get to play them again Saturday at home.

We'll see if Jokic is in. I think he will be it looked like either a Charlie Horse or just a kneecap to kneecap situation.

If he is I think you're on the right track they are just going to have to alternate Len and Chandler and just be as physical with him as they can.

That was the first time I'd watched Jokic but I had heard a lot about him.

He's an interesting player because he's slow, he's not really athletic at all but he just dominates the game because he is super, super smart. That was my immediate impression. He uses his body really well to jockey for position and he always seems to be in great position for rebounds. Add in the fact that he can pass the way he can. I'm impressed.

Every time I see him man,,, every time.

Brandon effing Knight. lol

I hate him so much, I might just miss him when he's gone. :p

Good loss, thankfully this team finds new ways to lose because... they are right now way better more talented than a 15-31 team and will start winning games.

Hopefully we are in a deep enough hole that winning games will still get us an impact player in the draft.
Boo! We never draft anyone great anyways, lets go on a run and get bounced out of the 1st round of the playoffs, just for funzies!!!

I would love to watch the suns play the Warriors in the playoffs IDK about you guys. That would be a no-lose situation for this young team.

I think he is quicker than he looks. He caught my eye when dribbled the ball down the court with ease plus those moves inside. He is going to be a good one. Anyway he is a way better player than Len.

Don't sell him short, Jokic has a deceptively quick first step.

Yeah totally agree, great point. Really what I mean he's not freakishly athletic like say Dwight Howard or Shaq, but he's just so good he kindof reminds me of David Robinson in his ability to shift around in the paint and get to the hoop deceptively, to steal your word. Silky. But he's also super physical. He seems to have it all. I didn't see him hit much from outside, how is his shot?

I mean, he was absolutely destroying Tyson in the 4th quarter, I was stunned by some of those moves. He's really good, why didn't we draft him? :(

Because he was a big white euro and everyone knows they are overrated.

Hope Warren has turned a corner, and that Bender gets back soon.

I like this to be our rotation, especially if we can flip Knight and Tucker for a first rate 3&D small forward. Ideally Chriss and Bender could take his minutes as well, but now I am dreaming.

Chandler
Chriss
Warren
Booker
Bledsoe
Len
Tucker*
Bender
Ulis

This game was lost when they went small and had Dudley on jokic for extended play.
The TNT crew were busting out laughing when they saw that the Suns had Bledsoe, Booker and Knight all in the game at same time and Gallinari and Jokic kept taking turns scoring on one of the guards. They showed two highlights of Jokic once being guarded by Booker and then Gallinari being guarding Knight and both Jokic and Gallinari scored rather easily (like me or you scoring on toddlers) and Barkley absolutely lost it on the air. I don't mind it cause it helps with the tank but their commentary when showing the highlights was hilarious.

I usually call out the overrated big white euro players in the draft but let me just say "I told you so about Jokic".

He graded as the best player in the entire draft that year by advanced stats and draft prediction metrics. I posted several articles about it before the draft here.

Another guy who rated very highly and is having a very productive season is Clint Capela.

You should get a scouting job in the NBA. Jokic went #41 in 2014 if I read it correctly on Wikipedia.

This was a winnable game and unfortunately (or fortunately) they didn't win it. However, it makes no sense to me that Dudley and Tucker are in the game at the same time at any point of the game let alone the fourth quarter of a tight game. Chriss, who granted was in foul trouble, played all of 8 minutes this game. If they do not trade Tucker or Dudley at the deadline, they need to rethink their rotations.

Not crazy about the Dudley/Tucker combo, but if you want to win games then Chriss is not who you want on the court. I have high hopes for the guy, but at the moment he is our 2nd worst rotation player (behind Knight obviously).

When Bender gets back he hopefully pushes Dudley back to the bench and reduces Tucker's minutes.

The win be aren't important to me, I would prefer to get Chriss more minutes so he can develop. I want to see Bender play more too. they are more than likely going to lose all they may as well get these guys some minutes.
