The Suns are in New Orleans to face the Pelicans after a tough loss to the Celtics on Thursday. It will be interesting to see how they respond.

The Pelicans should be well rested as they last played on Wednesday in a 107-98 win over the Bulls at home.

The Suns are now 2-9 and the Pelicans 5-6.

Game time is scheduled for 5 p.m. Arizona time. It will be televised on FSAZ.

It's good to see Gentry and Kokoskov laughing and talking. They coached together on the Clippers.

Whew. Warren almost got his third personal foul.

Ariza can’t play defense.

The refs are going to be pro-NEw Orleans.

Ayton only touches the ball in the high post where he can’t do anything.

At least TJ is trying to take it inside. He got a foul on AD at least.

It's good to see Jackson getting minutes early.

Ayton doesn't seem to want to challenge Davis inside.

They just can't score today, especially from the outside. They are not turning the ball over, they are playing decent defense, with the exception of Holmes and Ayton. No Anderson yet, thank God.

The Suns are not able to get inside shots unchallenged.

End of 2st quarter:

Pekicans 33 - Suns 26

It could have been worse with the Suns unable to score inside. The Pelicans challenged everything in the paint.

Thankfully Warren gives the Suns a semblance of an inside game. Otherwise not much.

Is it just me or is Ayton getting more passive every game.

I’m not thrilled by him in this game either, but he’s going up against the best big man in the game in his 12th game. He deserves a little slack.
