I doubt they'd do it but about the only thing that would disappoint me is if we were to package some of our picks to bring in an aging player to help us make a run at a playoff spot. Develop the young players and treat draft picks like gold and I'll be comfortable with whatever happens.

Yeah, I really don't think you have anything to worry about.

IMO, if the Suns do a major trade, it will be for a young star. The best time would be around draft time.

I don't either unless the rabid Sarver haters are correct, in which case he could step in again and force a short-sighted move. I think he's learned the cost of doing business in that manner but we'll see.

If the Suns combination of coaching staff, athleticism, uncharacteristic defense and go-to shooter has given us what it takes to be a decent team, any talk of tanking should be a thing of the past. What a relief!

With our accumulation of draft picks, we should be able to sign a good free agent and still have a couple of good draft picks for next season.

And, with that, we'd be on our way back to playoff contention, which is a major step following our sinking to the depths.

Hope for the future, as well as watching good games, is a wonderful thing!

man, if they do something like trade for Rudy Gay, I'll flip my lid.

but a trade for someone like a Faried (who's name has started to circle in trade whispers around the league)...that's a trade I'd have to consider the pros and cons of.
