The Pelicans have had a lot of injury issues thus far. Their record isn't that indicative of their talent. They did make a mistake trying to go into the season super small with Herb Jones as their starting C but I suspect they'll flip Ingram for a big sooner than later.

Suns can't afford to take anyone lightly though. Worst record in the West or not, doesn't matter. Good teams don't play down to their competition. If the Suns want to be a good team they need to play like it.

oso needs to start from here on out - the better he gets the better we get - nurk and plum will only digress from here on out - it's the age and frame size - it's inevitable where as oso brings the speed on and off ball that we desperately need

tyus - beal - book - kd - oso

Saw those last night. Suns got a lucky draw there. Both very winnable games. I'd go a step further and say they should be wins if the Suns have playoff aspirations.
I'll go even further. With the bloodbath at the top of the west, Suns HAVE to win these. These will likely matter for seeding/avoiding play-in given the Suns problems with injuries.

Let's hope the Suns can take advantage. Some nights, I don't know which team is going to show up.

Kevin Durant and Jusuf Nurkic are OUT.

Both will reportedly will be out about a week, or reevaluated at that time.

Ryan Dunn is PROBABLE.

For the Pelicans, they continue to be without Zion Williamson (left hamstring strain) while Brandon Ingram (right plantaris), Herb Jones (right shoulder sprain) and Yves Missi (right ankle sprain) are questionable.Jose Alvarado and Jordan Hawkins are also out.

Suns win three in a row if Durant played. They need to find a way and the answer might be Oso. who would have had that on your Bingo card?

I view Oso as more of a replacement for Nurkic, but he has been a pleasant surprise. However, getting past the Pelicans should be a much easier task than getting by the Heat and Magic.

Depends on the matchup to me. Oso cannot guard big centers at all.

If the Suns don't shore up the interior December 15th or thereafter, it's going to make for tough playoffs. I hope they have a plan.

I don't see how. It's not like there is a lot of cheap capable centers available to trade for, nor do the Suns have much of anything somebody would want they would be willing to give up.

I'm not very optimistic this team can be a real contender even if they found a way to get an upgrade at center.

All we can do is hope.

The Suns would likely have to attach a first round pick or whatever second round picks they have to make a trade with a contract that fits the second tax apron criteria. It would likely have to be a multi-team trade.

Isaiah Stewart is on my wish list. I wonder if the Suns have looked at foreign players that might have an opt-out. I'd even kick the tires on G-League players as a last resort.

Also, I'd rather have Frank Kaminisky over Bol Bol if it comes to that.

Richaun Holmes of the Wizards is another player I would explore in the trade market.

Washington would likely want to get rid of his contract.
