The Suns simply cannot stop drives to the basket by opponents. Without a fix, the season appears in vain.

That's what Coach Bud calls? Ugh. We deserved that loss.

I forget which game it was too but it was a screen and pass to book on the other side of the court for his last second shot. Was a terrible play then too. Hope he’s saving the best for last. The thing is, we shouldn’t need to be in these situations.

Just a reminder that the Pelicans were averaging just 103 PPG coming into this game...

Their PPG doesn't say a lot considering they've been without Murray for a month, CJ for a stretch, and Ingram just returned. They were always going to exceed 103 tonight. It's that the Suns couldn't maintain a lead that was the issue.

Beal had the hotter hand and should have run a screen for Booker. It would have given one of them space. I would have had Beal take that shot. It's Booker's team but Booker likes winning more than having the last shot. Really dumb play. They didn't even free Book up, at all. If he was open when he caught the pass then fine but it was bad all around.

Just curious if the opponent is allowed to foul the off arm of the shooter. Booker got hit a couple of times there on the final play.

I wonder what the Last 2-Minute Report will say.

He wasn't fouled. They shouldn't play to be bailed out on a bad 3 by a whistle anyways. Refs don't like blowing whistles when the buzzer sounds. Any infraction that does get called then has to be really egregious.

Herb Jones definitely got the off arm though. I'm not sure the Suns wouldn't have been called for the foul if the situation was reversed.

Still, I don't like the designed play.

Book just ain’t a superstar. And KD is a rough pre-game layup line from breaking his ankle.

And Beal is always a stuff breeze away from separating his shoulder.

They should blow this team up, try and somehow recoup some of those picks lost… think Houston has them now and just start rebuilding because this team ain’t ever gonna be good enough to even get HCA advantage due to injuries and just lack of upper shelf talent.

He’s reached his ceiling. There’s no athletic upside or improvement as a 3pt shooter to be had. He’s the Allan Houston of his era.

Devin Booker was the only option on the final play.

He’s actually the SG version of Carmelo Anthony. But same basic difference.

He should have gotten a shot up. It's weak to mention the 2 minute report as a player as well. Fans discussing that is one thing. He knows even if the league admits there was a bad or no call that the result won't change. The L stays regardless.

Any contact was incidental and not a true foul. Definitely not going to call it for him to potentially ice the game at the FT line.

Bud can also say Booker was the only option and ill credit him some for owning the mistake in that way but it was a very uncreative play design.

Ultimately it was the abysmal 3rd quarter that cost the Suns. Giving up 45 points is inexcusable.

And I think we didn’t even need a 3 ?
