That draft class was godawful for us. It's part of the reason I give Igor some leeway is because of how much of a mess this roster is

Agree. Igor inherited a mess without starters at point guard and power forward.

It hurts even more watching Chriss play.
Yeah, pretty funny how slin wants all of use to bow down to him and say he was right about Bender, when he is all crickets when it comes to Chriss. Classic pick-and-choose armchair management.

To be perfectly honest I'm not even sure we have worthy backups at those positions either.

I think the Suns need a couple of power forward types and perhaps the same goes for point guard.

So if the Suns and Cavaliers finished tied for second worse team in the final standings, how do they decide who drafts #32 and #33 in the second round.

Do they flip a coin?

I'm sure, sure we don't. Holmes is borderline adequate as a backup 5 but we are in bad shape at whichever guard position Booker isn't manning and even worse shape at the 4.

End of 3rd quarter:

Rockets 117 - Suns 77

That's right, 117 points for the Rockets to finish the 3rd quarter.

I accidently typed and corrected 1117 but it felt that way.

Final:

Rockets 149 - Suns 113

The score tells a lot of the story.

Rockets set record for most 3s in a game.

The announcers on nbatv are unlistenable. I realize that they aren’t “locked into the Suns” but at one point they claimed Oubre wasn’t playing because of “load management” and then joked it was more like “lottery management”.
They are the Rockets announcers, which is why they are so bad .

To be nice. I think the team has good length on defense and competed for the most part. There can't be an expectation for anything else in this game.

Let me also welcome you to the Suns forum.

It was hard to defend the record breaking barrage of 3s the Rockets made.

Of course the Suns were completely outmatched especially with their injury situation.
