Let's look at the big picture here. We've been playing pretty average on the offensive end, but after a full half we have a 3-point lead. I'm very happy with that in the first game of the season.

I know the rest of you will bitch and moan about everything you've seen so far, but there really is no reason for it since it's the first game of the season.

The hack-a-shaq reeks of desperation.

They can't stop the Suns by playing defense so they resort to cheap tactics.

Whatever.

You do know theres a difference between bitching and moaning and noting 'oh the Suns need to work on XYZ".

Also, lets look at the big picture here, Ginobilli and Oberto aren't playing, I'm not too encouraged or discouraged, its too early to glean much from this game.

Offense looks pretty bad. That is to be expected. Everybody is still trying to figure out what they are supposed to be doing, where their shots are going to come from, etc. They will figure it out and they will be fine.

I am happy with defense, for the most part. I really like Robin Lopez so far. When that guy is on the court, there are no uncontested layups.

Looking forward to 2nd half.

bitching and moaning are the sisters of noting 'oh the Suns need to work on XYZ". :)

There goes Stoudemire again- charging like a rhino.

You're kidding right? That overhead angle showed just how pathetic of a flop it was. Stoudemire avoided 99.9% of the contact, that's just Kurt Thomas being Kurt Thomas.

Maybe I didn't see Stoudemire charge correctly. Looked to me like a replay of the exact same play in game 1 of playoffs- A guy with basketball IQ standing there and a guy with no basketball IQ charging like an animal. Perhaps I am wrong.

To be fair, that was a great defensive sequence by Amare- he just would not let Duncan get that basketball.
