Think about it: The Lakers, Spurs, Mavs, and Kings should hold the 1-4 positions. But it is wide open after that. With Utah's legendary tandem moving on, the Jazz are pretty much destined for lottery stardem in the next 2 or 3 years. That leaves from last year the Twolves, Blazers, and Suns that made the post-season last year. The Suns are certainly just as good as those other two teams. Of course, the Rockets and Warriors will be fighting for a spot as well, but most likely they won't both make the playoffs anyway.

Where do you think we'll end up next year?

It's a little too early to tell now. A whole lot depends on how much Amare, JJ and Marion are able to improve in the offseason(particularly Amare) and what Minnesota does roster-wise.

I think a lot of it depends on the health of our players. We were in 3rd in the west for a while last season until Jake & Penny got injured. If we can have our top 8 guys stay healthy then we could even crap the top 4.

Sorry to plop my views down on your guys, I have a feeling this team will get the runs and gun offense going and wipe all the other teams in the west out.

LOL!

You guys are too much.

Of course if they're going to be successful they're going to need some "movement" in that offense.

Well, they better, or they'll find themselves in the bowels of the Western Conference.

There will most likely be a "log" jam at the 5, 6, 7, and 8 spots but there will be a swirl of movement as the Suns grunt and make a final push in the end.

if the suns get stuck in the midst of this sutuation, they might have to call roto rooter if it gets too bad. we all know the lakers stunk, but could it really be that bad?

i hope the west doesn't have to put up with kidd's crap. it's going to be tough enough with teams "loading up" with new arsenals. the firepower in the west will be a sight to see.

-the runs and guns of the suns life jbeecham said
-the "nuggets" have some new additions
-the spurs will aquire some new talent
-the mavs have the big three, but can they "hang" with other teams?
-the rockets...well lets not go there:)
-the trail isn't the only thing portland is blazing
-the kings definatly will look to regain their "thrones" this year

:D
