Jenkins has come out and said that he's really happy and Phoenix and wants to stay with the team, if possible. I know he's a third string player but in what little we saw of him last year I think there is some potential. He's definitely more of a shooting guard than Archie is. I wouldn't mind him staying if we can move one of the guards we have but there is no point in keeping him if we have Barbosa and the 5 UK guards.

I still think it will look back if we string Jenkins along just to let him go at the last minute.

The Suns will hold a noon press conference Tuesday to announce adding Leandro Barbosa, who traveled from Brazil to sign before the Olympics. Per Paul Coro

What a great sight to see Leandro Barbosa in a Suns uniform again.

I really wish LB would lure Nash back to the organization. Haven't seen much about him since the season ended, not even sure if he is still under contract with Golden St. Only thing I found is that a radio station in the Bay Area was speculating that Nash might be vetted to take Luke Walton's place as an assistant coach to Steve Kerr.

Seems like if there were 2 players that could lure him back, it would be Dudley and LB.

I think as long as Sarver and he have a significant financial connection elsewhere (soccer), they won't put that relationship at risk by bringing him back to the Suns in any capacity. JMG.

I was thinking the opposite, that their financial connection in soccer might lure them closer together.

However, I can see where your point of view might be true as well. Sometimes working together can stress relationships although I do not see why this should be the outlook if Nash joined the Suns in some capacity.

Apparently they are also friends of a sort, this franchise would put a burden on that friendship IMO. Just look at the way it ended with Kerr. Sarver may not be the evil non-genius he's frequently billed as but it's pretty clear he's a hard person to work for and with. They'd have to have a completely different type of relationship if Nash ended up working for him this closely. Again, all JMO.

The pipe dream of Nash joining the Suns in some capacity ended when his buddy Mike D wasnt hired as HC. Really no point in coming back now. I could see him with the Rockets or NO though if he decides to leave GS.

Hey now, Diaw is just up the interstate in Utah now. And, where's Marion.. RA-HA Bell! Kurt Thomas still playing?

:biglaugh:

I was thinking the same - trying to re-live glory days, lol.

Marion is busy in retirement. Welcome back, Barbs!
