It's a reach but I suppose if the Suns liked Lundberg enough they could waive a player like Payton and sign him to their regular roster.

Another thought, I hope Payne did not get injured last night and they are signing him for temporary help at point guard.
Thats not far fetched at all. If he isn't better than Payton, than I don't want him on the roster anyway.

I'm sure Lundberg replacing Payton on the roster is a dream shared by many including myself.

James Jones doesn't make these decisions lightly. The question for me, does he have time to adjust to the NBA game. I don't think he has played in the NBA before.

Lundberg probably plays simillar to Kennard but he has a longer wingspan at about 6'9". From all descriptions he is a tough player and can play both guard positions.

This is a nice article.

Great read.

Iffe works out it could be the steal of the century. TY Putin.
Iffe doesn't the search goes on.
As a first from his country in the NBA we just gained a Nation of rabid fans. And I love those little breakfast cakes they make.

It may be a couple of weeks before we see Lundberg. He is going through the visa process.

that was some pretty poor defense that was being played against him, but I like what looks like a good BBall IQ and a good looking shot.

Looks like Desmond bane to me.

I'd take it. I was hoping Lundberg would arrive more quickly.

I'm still clinging to the hope he can replace Payton on the roster.

This. I mean he’s a 27 year old that is averaging 9 pts in a lesser league. I’ll be shocked if he adds anything, but doesn’t hurt.
It is not uncommon for guys to average more in the NBA than Eureague. I mean Luka went from like 12/5/5 in earoleague to 21/8/6 in the NBA the next season. The NBA is generally a higher pace league and offense tends to be more free flowing.

Not saying that this guy will suddenly be a good NBA player, but I wouldn’t base that off of Euroleage stats.

That is quite the celebration for a 2 way contract.

Doesn't it expire at season end? If he doesn't get his Visa worked our real soon, he may not even get to play for us this year.

Admittedly the celebration made me tear up. I hope the Suns are looking at adding him long term.

Suns are all about team and family.

Shows how great even a taste of the show can be
