After a tough loss by the Suns to the Clippers in overtime last night they visit the Spurs tonight.

The Spurs (13-14) have won their last two games while the Suns (4-23) have lost their last nine games.

All the losing is beginning to take a toll on the fans.

Elie Okobo is being sent to the NAZ Suns. I'd like to see Juwan Evans get an opportunity to play.

Booker is still out and Crawford is questionable.

Odds for TJ staying in the game tonight? :)

Odds for TJ staying on the team this season? I don't know the answer to either but I think he has a better chance of reaching his minutes restriction tonight than he does of finishing the season with us. Nothing but a guess but I figure he's a 50/50 shot of being traded for a power forward unless Trevor gets moved for one. In which case, maybe he'll be our point guard trade bait.

That would piss me off! Arguably, maybe our number 3 player right now.

Healthy he's definitely been top 3 for us (a lot of people would have him number 1) but we don't have a whole lot of trade ammunition. And while I love the possibility of getting Zion, we probably need a backup plan as the odds are well against us.

Watching short handed Coyotes hustle to a 2-0 lead in the first quarter! :) Gotta get a little winning in when I can. Kemper has stopped several quality shots so far!

Guess who is at tonight's game... Ryan McDonough. I hope a reporter gets the story on this.

Especially since reports are out that the Coyotes are about to be relocated to Houston.

Phoenix appears to have become pro sports hell.

Considering they have the worst record in the league I wouldn't say odds are well against them , I bet they have the first or second pick this year, but I think they could get a good point guard or PF for tj so if the offer was there I would definitely trade him while his value is high

What's interesting is the Coyotes brought in a no name young GM with ZERO experience, and he has retooled the Coyotes into a playoff contender.

If we finished with the worst record, we'd still only have a 14% chance of getting Zion. No team would have a better chance pre-lottery than us but still, that's basically just a 1 in 7 chance.

did anyone else see the story that the JC Classic, which had 3 of the best college teams in the country playing in it, had scouts from 24 different teams there to watch 3 of the best teams in college... while the Suns had NONE? An event in our own backyard to scout this year's draft and we've got no one there to scout? Apparently James Jones eventually showed up AFTER the tweet went out and embarrassed the team. Anyone else irked by this?

If you trade away all your picks this year, why do you need to scout? That's my theory!

I understand the reasoning but I think that is part of why Daniels has suddenly been inserted into the rotation and has been getting good minutes. He's a servicable backup guard that is on an expiring deal. If James Jones can't find a taker for him in a trade I would be disappointed. I've liked Daniels but he's streaky and it's unlikely he'll be here next year. He reminds me of a cross between Eddie House and Gerald Green, a gunner off the bench, but he's been playing well this season when given time. I would be surprised if there wasn't a playoff team that would be interested in adding him to their bench.

I hope we don't make a trade involving Warren that is for a PF this year unless the player is locked in for a few years so we don't need to worry about resigning them within the next year or two and they're an established player, similar to TJ in that regard. TJ hasn't hit his prime yet but for the most part we know what he will provide every game. His attitude lately leads me to believe there is something else going on behind the scenes be he wasn't the type to talk to refs like he has this year. I'm not sure what he said last night but it must have been pretty bad.

It's a little more complicated than just the 1 in 7 basically it's still a high probability the bottom 3 teams will draft within the first 3 and if they finish with the worst record they won't fall further than 5 , also there's a chance Barret or possibly some one else goes 1st so they would need 1 or 2 to get him most likely which is alot higher odds

Indeed. The Suns lack of scouting is more than embarrassing.

Remember when the Holmes signing was just insurance for nights when Chandler didn't play?

Yes, if Zion gets seriously injured or abducted by aliens, he could drop a spot or two. But I'd be beyond shocked if he wasn't the most desired prize come draft day. However, let's say I'm wrong and he falls. One way or the other it will be because he no longer solves our biggest problem so it wouldn't matter anyway. Barrett isn't going to change our fortunes. So again, the odds are long for us with Zion.
