I don't know why, but Nash seems to avoid shooting. The odd thing is they don't play us much differently than the Mavs do. Yet he torches them.

When Nash is scoring and passing that's when he's at his best, not just passing.

On that last Duncan foul before the half, did you notice how they all held the whistle until Boris caught the ball? They weren't going to call anything until the travel.

But if you smack the ball out of Tony Parker's hand, it's an automatic foul.



Suns playing how they have to play, keeping things close. If they got in front by more than a bucket, Uncle Dick would make sure things didn't get out of hand...

My dad just popped in to the last part of the half and couldnt understand why the suns are not going directly at duncan. he pointed out that it seems like they are trying to be smooth and work their way around him. I quickly explained to him that if the suns as much look at Tim Duncan they are called for a foul.....After all he is Tim Duncan

Nash needs to take more shots.

Bell and Barbosa need to provide parameter shooting otherwise they will just continue to pack the paint.

And, containing Parker somewhat wouldn't hurt.

The Spurs almost shot the lights out in the 2nd quarter. Really, we've done well to stay with them the whole game. I'm still waiting for us to get on a real hot streak shooting. I'm tired of hearing all this talk about the Spurs D. Yes, it's good, but we have guys missing shots they normally make.
