At this point, I'd be shocked if Strawberry isn't on the roster.
that clinches it for me - he ain't gonna be a Sun.

you gotta start laying off george.
Pretty ugly way to finish the summer league. The Summer Suns trailed most of the way, but got back to take the lead late in the fourth quarter, only to squander it away with turnovers and poor shot selection down the stretch.
They finish with 1-4 record, losing four close games.
Strawberry had his worst game of the summer, shooting 3-13 and committing 10 turnovers. He did have 12 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 steals.
Ron Hale again impressive off the bench, with 19 points including 4-6 from beyond the arc. George with 8 points and 12 rebounds, 5 offensive. Tucker shot poorly again (6-18) and finished with 13. Hess scored 14 off the bench.
Overall, here's my ranking from the most impressive to the least, for the Suns Summer league (excluding Banks):
1. strawberry
2. tucker
3. george
4. hale
5. sow
6. sanders
7. hess
8. everett
9. bennerman
10. bradley
11. williams
You could have stopped after #4. Everyone else sucked.
with rebounding numbers i've seen from tucker and from what i'm guessing his shooting percentage was, i think you can likely lump him into the "everyone else sucked" camp too.
anyone know tucker's shooting percentage for the entire 5 games?
boxscore
Otis George had 6 points on 3/8 shooting and grabbed 10 boards in only 28 minutes. From what I saw of him, he seems to have a real knack for the ball and getting rebounds. He looks to be more of a ball hawk than a positional rebounder.
I really hope he comes to camp and we find a spot for him. Or he plays overseas for another year and we pick him up next year after KT is gone, giving him another year to develop. I will be upset if the Suns pass on him because they don't want to carry 14 and another team picks him up.

Suns.com: What kind of feedback is the coaching staff giving you here at summer league?
Tucker: They like how I'm playing. They like the energy I'm playing with at both ends of the court, and they like that I'm not trying to force any shots. At the same time, they want me to be more ready to shoot the ball. Once I get it, I need to take the shot that I have open. I have the ability to knock down the score, so they want me to exert myself a little bit more on offense. At the same time, they feel I'm playing steady.
Suns.com: As you look in the mirror every day, what do you feel you have to work on the most?
Tucker: For me, it's just finding consistency from the three-point line at the professional level. It's a big adjustment from college. I think any rookie coming has to have good consistency with the three-point shot. But the way the Suns use it, and the way Steve Nash sets up plays, I'll have to be open and ready. I'll be open. Look at Raja Bell and some of those other guys. They're open and Steve Nash does so well with the ball, I have to be ready to knock it down.
41% Fg
18% 3pt(and the 3s I saw him make were not pretty)
63% FT
His shooting was horrible in 2 games 5/20 and 6/18. I don't put too much into SL #s and I thought Tucker looked atleast servicable most of the time in the 3 games I saw. Though I still disagree with those that said he'll be more productive than Jones.
combined with the rebounding numbers it looks like he had a fairly poor SL. i know it doesn't take into account defense, but to get burn with dantoni he's gonna have to offer a LOT more than that.
What were Josh Howard's numbers in his first SL play after being drafted by the Mavs?
He averaged 21 points, 8 boards (from some website I googled).
