I am not apologizing for Igor, but really, we only have two NBA starters out there in the starting lineup. Booker and TJ are the only guys who are really starters on most teams. Ayton is a rookie. He doesn't count. It's like 2 against five out there to start the game every game.

If you call TJ a 3, we were dominated at the 1, the 4 and the 5. We lost the bench battle and at best, broke even at our two best positions (2 and 3). That's a blowout in the making. One of these days we will find an opponent that plays hard from start to finish and we'll lose by 60 plus.

This is their mode of operation. If the Suns get down, they quit.
Bingo. This team has become so conditioned to losing that it’s second nature for them. Play, lose, go party afterwards. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I totally get that without a PG and PF, this team is constantly overmatched. But c’mon man! No Westbrook and we are battling to just keep OKC within 30???
We have Booker, Bridges, Ayton, Warren, Josh, Ariza... and this is all we can produce?
I really think Igor is over his head... Hate to say it, but it could very well be time - 13 games into the season - to cut him loose and start all over...

I'm guessing the Suns save enough money on their hires they can afford to start over.. and over... and over.

The Suns need to spend near top dollar on their GM, coaches and scouts. It's too costly otherwise.

But maybe that’s just it. Maybe Igor would be a good, or even great, coach with a veteran established team. But maybe he was a bad choice for a young team (though wasn’t he supposed be great at development?). I don’t know. But I’ve been a “give Igor time” guy but as the 20pt losses continue to pile up I’m wavering.
I am watching every team we play and their starters and bench, and look at ours, honest assesment, and I am shocked the LACK of talent we have. If it was a playground and all the GMs were picking teams, Booker would get picked early, then later on down the line TJ, Then farther down Ayton, after that who would you pick from the Suns versus all the guys available in the NBA? Really, I think we WAY overvalue the guys on our team.

Booker is a terrible passer. Canaan is an all encompassing black hole.

Since they can't draft for crap just trade your picks for the best players we can get. Carmelo would look like an all star again playing with our dudes

This is true but it doesn't excuse lack of effort.

However, players like Anderson, Ariza, Crawford, Daniels and Bender do not cut it.

And I didn't even mention the Suns point guard situation.

You know, it's kind of funny because we don't really overvalue these guys individually. I mean, read the stuff posted on these guys and it's clear most of us see their flaws. I just think we might not add them up correctly. There was also the false narrative going into this season that we weren't as bad as our record suggested last year because we were tanking. We earned that horrible record and neither injuries nor tanking change the fact that almost every opponent we faced last season could turn it on and dominate us at will.

Cleveland, with their injuries, might give us a run for least talented team but that's about it. We get dominated every night at 2 or 3 positions (at minimum) which might be offset a bit if we were dominating a couple ourselves but that hasn't been the case. And don't even get me started on our bench.

Our bench historically has been one of the better benches in the league. However, it's been a long time since this has been true. Right now our bench is one of the worst in Suns history.

It's hard to believe the referees fall for this as he is a beast on the other end of the court.

One of the things I always respected about him is that despite his bull in a china closet game, he never whined or flopped (that I saw). But now, he works the refs a lot more and he falls down if he feels a feather on his shoulder.
