Wouldn't mind seeing them be precautious and sitting him for the remainder of the season. I don't think Jackson is the type of player who will sit if he could play though. The way he was playing should get him on one of the All-Rookie teams, not sure if he'd still make one of those if he misses the rest of the season though.

It's a thought although Chandler may be the more likely candidate.

Booker goes to the bench after getting 30 points. I doubt if he will be back.

Chandler is the second highest scorer with 10 points at this point in the game.

Peters hits two quick 3 point shots.

Just like that Peters has 8 points.

Final:

Thunder 115 - Suns 87

Other than Booker's 30 points, nothing to write home about.

I liked what I saw from Harrison who had 9 points and 3 assists.

Bender is too timid but even though he hasn't been scoring as a starter Chriss isn't doing enough off the bench to warrant a change in the starting lineup. I think Chriss not trying to fight for that starting spot back is more frustrating than watching Bender pass up easy shots.

I'm telling you, man... Triano should require Bender to take ten shots or he sits the next game.

in the grand scheme of things, they've both shown next to nothing. Yes, Bender can shoot the three... and that is pretty much it. These weren't late round fliers. These are top ten picks... at the end of their second year. One of them is afraid to shoot and as a 7 footer is soft as charmin and the other seems to have no heart or drive.

He needs to do something. He's willing to get on Chriss and force him to do extra conditioning work if he doesn't play in 20 minutes in a game. He needs to something like you suggest with Bender. I don't know if 10 shots would be right amount but that's a start. I think he should call for him to take at least 5 regular FG's, not 3's. Ideally he'd get them all in the paint. That might cause him to drive and be more aggressive. He seems to be fine shooting from outside, it's when he passes up open looks inside that is the most frustrating. I don't mind seeing players pass out of 3's if they don't have a solid look or someone has a better shot.

When Tyson Chandler is the 2nd leading scorer and he didn't even play 20 minutes you know your offense is garbage. OKC is not a good defensive team either so you can't blame it on them shutting everyone down. It's funny how Triano has changed his tune lately and said he would like to remain on as the coach after he talked about how he didn't like being a head coach in the NBA because of the added media responsibilities. Since he's said he'd like to be the HC beyond this year they've been blown out by 40 points twice and the offense has been anemic.

Oh man this was painful to watch. OKC is just loaded with good to great wing defenders and Booker needed help. Unfortunately the rest of the team laid a collective egg.

I've been reading about Derrick Rose a lot today since he signed with the Timberwolves this morning. Some people think he can be a difference maker since he's reunited with Thibs and he'll help the Wolves get out of the 1st round while others think he'll be no different than he's been the last few years, barely able to play and when he does he's just a shell of his former self. He was the youngest MVP in NBA history just 7 years ago, he's not even 30 and his career has basically been over for the last 3 years. The only reason he doesn't retire is he's getting about $15 million a year from his ADIDAS contract so he'll sign on anywhere that will take him. Prior to the Wolves signing him he only had received 10 day contract offers from other playoff teams, which is sad. Since that was all fresh in my mind when I turned on the Suns game and saw Jackson go down I thought the worst. Didn't want to jinx it say anything about that until they reported more on his injury. Really glad to hear he's just day to day and it's minor. Now they need to sit him through the remainder of the season. Let him get back to 100%. Don't risk his future in games we're better off losing.

Those two picks #4 and #8 and their continuing struggles are the reason why many of us question McDonough's ability to make the correct decisions this summer.

At the time the suns had an across the media draft grade of "B". Fans around here were happy.

I think we had high picks in some lousy draft classes. This last draft with JJ was ok though.

Yep and the talent at the top of this draft far exceeds that 2016 draft as well. I still have hope that one of them at least turns into a solid rotation player. They both have the physical ability to be good, but are getting in their own way mentally.
