If we're talking about the same shot, I'd have taken it too. The defense wasn't fully set and they had their backs to the ballhandler, perfect time for a 3 with solid hopes of a rebound if it's missed. Didn't work but I understood it.

So you claim that even large sample size advanced defensive stats are useless and you don’t watch games and yet you feel confident in using crude stats from one game (that you’re not watching) to conclude Bender isn’t playing good defense?

Clearly you're not watching the game. Gibson scored mostly on Warren and Oubre. Towns has 17 points from the floor but has been out there almost 10 minutes more than Bender. And Bender didn't always much up against him. And who said outstanding? He's played pretty good defense although everyone is playing their guy looser now due to foul issues.

I can't rewind very well since I'm streaming this but I thought the refs missed an obvious goaltend (off the backboard), then missed the fact that the ball was touched last by 2 different Wolves and THEN Warren passed it into a crowd for another easy hoop. Bad stretch for us and the refs.

It was a foul, but he needs to control his emotion better than that. I think the he needs to be benched for at least a game as he is getting too many of these the last few games.

Alright, let's do this for 12 more minutes. They need to start the 4th aggressively and go on a little run. get this lead up to double-digits. Also, put Bridges on Rose. As good as JJ and Oubre are defensively, Bridges is still the best defender.
