Yeah, I agree with this. It would be better to take a shot at finding a decent rotation player with a late first rounder than hoping some collection of second rounders will yield any value (even as trade bait).I don't see why we'd do that. The odds of finding a decent player using one pick in the early-mid 20s are far far greater than even like... 10 second round picks.
But who knows given James Jones' apparent disdain for the draft.
