Any speculation on the rotations and starters for this game? I doubt anyone of the new acquisitions will be playing yet, these things typically take 48 hours to clear all the physicals ect ect.

Is Len confirmed to return tonight? If he's not playing then the team will be super small.

So will the "new guys" be in uniform tonight?

Brandon Knight and Marcus Thornton aren't the only ones joining the Suns in Chicago tomorrow. Earl Barron will sign a Suns 10-day contract.

I've been thinking all along that the Suns could benefit from having a bench player or 2 that have no delusions of grandeur.

Apparently, Knight won't be playing tonight and Gerald Green will start. Hopefully that means Archie will get some minutes

At least now I am looking forward to watching the Suns play. I want to see players on the court who, win or lose, who want to be there.

Hope Goodwin and Warren get quality minutes going forward for rest of the season. They can't seriously be thinking that they will overtake OKC for #8 spot.

Unfortunately I don't think they are going to raise the white flag just yet. I'm hoping they realize that the playoffs are a very remote possibility and that they at least find a nice balance to their rotation while they fight their almost unwinnable fight. I look at our remaining 28 games and I figure that the team that suited up in November or even the last 2 weeks would be lucky to go 7 - 21. And that was back when I was expecting an easy win against Minnesota. Without Goran, 6 - 22 is a real possibility.

But hopefully we will be a lot better than the team that suited up in November. Not enough better to make the playoffs but perhaps we could come together well enough to win 10 to 12 of our remaining games. And that kind of finish would be a lot less painful if Goodwin, Bullock and Warren were logging at least 45 minutes a night.

Golden State, Memphis, Atlanta and Oklahoma City. Those are the only rosters (with staffs) that could step into our exact situation and still make the playoffs in the West IMO. Chicago, Toronto, Washington, Portland, Houston, San Antonio and the Clippers would all likely play noticeably better against this schedule than we will but it still would likely have them finishing no better than 9th.

That's what happens when you squander so many opportunities early in the season against a light schedule. So scrap the playoff dreams Jeff and let the young guys play.

If only the Suns actually realized this.

I heard during the presser McD talked about Gerald Green and Marcus Thornton getting opporutnites ahead of Goodwin and Warren.

Babby also talked about how winning every game (not developing Warren, Goodwin and Bullock) remains the top priority to finish the season.

They have to say that. Anything else is destructive and would likely do far more damage to the culture and our future than anything that's gone down recently.

I heard him mention Green and Thornton but I also heard them talking about the three younger guys. One of them mentioned they were hoping at least one of them would step up and commented that all three of them (4 actually as he mentioned Ennis too) were tearing it up in the D League.

Archie looks really good. Man, I wish we traded Green yesterday so that Goodwin would have been the primary backup SG.

This game is already more entertaining than most of the rest of our games this season for the simple fact that Goodwin and Warren are getting some burn.
