I want to keep him but giving him $25 million a year is near max money and he's not worth that. He's a great defender but his offense is inconsistent and even when he is producing offensively its typically in the mid teens. Look at a list of the highest paid Small Forwards and he not in the tier that deserves more than $20 million a year. A few guys making that now don't deserve it but received it because they're at the end of deals they were offered coming off their rookie deals, like Wiggins, Harrison Barnes, and Otto Porter.

I don't know what he's worth, I know that losing him would be something we'd complain about for many years. IMO he is so much more important than his stats would suggest so you pay him whatever you have to even if it approaches the max. I think you can really screw up your franchise by giving out a super max deal almost no matter how great the player is but there's enough room in a well-managed cap to survive an overpay mistake at the max level.

The thing is Ayton and Bridges can be extended this summer. Chris Paul could opt out.

Then there are players like Cam Payne and Craig Torrey the Suns would like to keep.

Potentially that could be a lot of money to pay.

Whoever said Payne should or might get $20 million a year is nuts. However I still think $25 million is overpaying for Bridges. Oubre got $15 and I think something between $15-20 for Bridges is fair but $25 is high, especially as an early extension offer.
I think the league (rightly) sees bridges ceiling WAY above oubre. I mean, WAAAAAAY above.

Deandre Ayton says he has been doing rehab and exercises for his knee.

I'm hoping the therapy on Ayton's knee has helped his explosiveness.

Can Nader's spot be filled by some sort of injury exception?

The regular season is over but the Suns season isn't. It feels good, albeit a little weird. Definitely not used to caring so little for the lottery drawing.
