My Buddy thinks Biyombo if given the chance would outperform Ayton. He is even telling me they should lock him up long term instead of Ayton. He was also huge on the Shamet deal so there is that.
Biyombo's career night last week was a game that Ayton puts up about once every 3 weeks or so. This kind of talk is lunacy.
Ayton is significantly better and more versatile on defense and, as annoying as his lack of attack on offense can be, he is almost more well rounded there. His screens are wide and physical, defenders really struggle to get around him.
Biyombo and McGee have been solid for us but there is a reason these 2 guys have bounced around the league a ton. They are not consistent and they do best in bursts.
