I love it. Do it

Mavs already have Hardaway Jr, maybe a slight upgrade.

This is such a Heat move, as they have Robinson and Herro.

Clippers to get younger I suppose.

Suns, i dont want him personally. Book might.

He always seems to disappear in the games I've watched him. Mostly Suns/Wolves games.

Gambo tweet incoming...

Russell as sixth man would be pretty great off the bench but I don’t know how we match that salary without hurting us somewhere else. I mean, that’s Crowder/Dario/Craig and a pick for him I assume.

Leaves us with zero back up PFs. Or I guess if you subbed Payne for Craig that would work. And I’d probably do that.

Your not bring a guy who makes 30 million here to come off the bench it would be to replace Paul.

At this point you have to do it in my opinion if they actually would take Paul.

I don't know how I feel on this one.

I don't think Russell is a good fit, or a winning PG - on the other hand he is worth more than CP3 at this point.

But if you acquire him just to flip him that probably doesn't make Book to happy.

Only 32 games left in the season for the Suns who are 25-25. They are in 9th place in the West.

If they are going to make a move up the standings they will have to do it soon.

Do they have what it takes? The return of Devin Booker and others will help but I think they need to make a move or two that will strengthen the team on defense and shooting. I wish the Suns could find a player that combines shooting and ball handling.

At the very least, we need a decent replacement for Crowder.

They could be teammates for the rest of this season, and then Paul would be bought out in the off-season. "Only" $15.8 million of Paul's salary for 2023-24 is guaranteed.

As I understand it, Saban Lee's second 10-day contract is only good through today, so the Suns will have a decision to make.

After today, he will have to be added to the regular roster if they plan to keep him.
