Rewatching the game and the announcers are RAVING about Goodwin.

"I love a Goodwin this kid will be special. It's amazing that he's only 19 cause he already plays hard on both ends of the floor and other than Giannis, he's by far the best athlete on the court right now. He can do it all, I'm a huge fan."

Plumlee's shot blocking ability is really underrated. He got some nice blocks on Parker and the Greek Freak even after the whistle. Its not easy to do that.

I wish Plumlee had better basketball IQ so he knows when to help and when to not and how to play without fouling etc. He's got all the physical tools and looks like a coachable kid.

And I really hope Curry makes the roster over Christmas. Curry would add some 3pt shooting and we would no longer have to hear lame Christmas jokes every time he steps on the court. Plus Christmas is garbage, he tries to shoot every time he gets it thinking he's Durant except he bricks them all. I don't know if I have seen someone chuck up so many contested 3s before.

We'll miss your cheerleading but please leave Christmas.

Really looking forward to seeing Warren next game. Without him and Len, it was just Goodwin in terms of players who I actually care about.

I like:

SG: Dragic, Goodwin
PG: Bledsoe, Thomas

IT, Dragic, and Bledsoe getting the most minutes but Goodwin possibly earning minutes, keeping the Suns really fresh down the stretch. Ennis would probably play with DL Team and Green/Tucker at SF, with Warren earning minutes at either Forward spot.

Morri and Plumlee/Len as your bigs. Alec Brown could easily start Season as 14th man (only 13 eligible to suit up) in and out of DL Team... at 7' FT as stretch 4/5.

Which leads to one spot available at PF or C. I'd prefer not to add another 3 playing the 4 (Marcus, Warren, and Tucker) as the Suns have plenty of those. Curious who they go after...

The win/loss % thingy go nuts when either the Dragon or Bledsoe is not in the game because of injury. With our new additions we won't use them up so constantly, they might be healthy towards the end of the season. Managing minutes, very fast paced minutes.

So, should we call you Scrooge? Its obvious you don't like Christmas.

The problem is that we need more three point shooting AND we need a bruiser/rebounder/enforcer type pf. Can Bill Laimbeer suit up?

You're right. Plumlee looked so much better at the center spot yesterday. I think those of us (me) that dreamed he could eventually move into the power forward position need to find a new dream.

I agree, Plumlee is clearly a center.

Archie seems to have the same problems as he did last season. He makes highlight plays and I wouldn't even be shocked if he ended up on the All Summer League team (do they have one?) but his team usually suffers while he's on the court. He's a shiny trinket. If I knew my ship was going to crash onto the shores of an undiscovered island populated by bad GM's, I'd take a crateful of shiny little Goodwins to trade with the natives. I'm sure they'd be impressed by his incredible first step and overall athleticism. But if I wanted to win a basketball game, I'd hand Archie one of those round orange Spaldings and tell him to go next door and work on his game.

Archie is a player that if he were on a bad team that didn't have many options at SG, played him regular if not starter minutes, he would develop into a star sooner rather than later. He needs to play, play, play to get to that level. It's all about getting mileage on Archie. I hope the Suns are not inpatient.

I mostly agree about your description, but if the Suns could find a PF that play like the above and can hit the mid-range shot, that would be enough for me.

You have probably never been more correct in your life. And that's a compliment not an insult :)

TJ Warren and Ennis have smooth games. McD keeps impressing with talent evaluation, I'm not going to doubt the dude anymore......unless he lets Bled go haha

Yup. I don't expect that he will draft the best player available at the moment every time. Everyone misses on someone. Hopefully he hits some home runs, and when he misses the picks are still solid and productive--that's probably better than 90% of the GM's.
