Okay, but he does good things and they almost always go unnoticed by you (apparently). He occupied the defense giving Dragic an open lane to the hoop. He made a really nice pass to Scola who forgot to make the layup, and so on. He is not what we need him to be, nobody would say he is but you keep calling him garbage and it's clear there's more to this guy than just that. Right now, he's more liability than asset but it isn't all bad. He clearly wants to be a team player and I think that's impacting his decision making as it's not something he's ever tried to be before IMO.

Yeah, everyonce in a while he makes a nice play, but given the amount of possessions he takes up he should be doing
something here and there. IMO, he has been an extremely negative presence on both ends so far, and the stats back that pretty strongly. And I agree that its he decision making that is the biggest problem. About 80% of the shots he takes are dumb shots, his habit of bringing the ball up on offense then running straight into a double team is maddening.
But Beasley as a player is a combination of lazy and stupid, and the bad habits he came to this team with appear to be being heavily reinforced by the supposed encouragement for him to continue to force his offense. I dont think you can fix his problems by expanding his role and giving him free reign in the offense, and so far it certainly is failing dramatically.
