Panic? Not me, yet! I bet D' Antoni has some adjustments for us. We were super
cold shooting and still are in it. We won't shoot this bad all game. :)

Wow. Great test for PHX. Utah is playing like a friggin Euro team.

You can see the greatness in Amare. They want no part of him. Just get him the ball every time down the floor.

Utah will start missing.

This should put that 70 win season business to rest. The Suns are going to have at least a half dozen more let downs like this before the season is over.

No big deal move on.

Jazz are a bunch of hacks......every freaking play they're slapping on arms, pushing in the back, setting moving screens, etc. This wasn't even a basketball game. The refs called a lot of fouls (Suns shot 36 ft's) but it seems like the refs don't want to call fouls on every play so they only call 1/4 of the fouls the Jazz commit. The Suns had a ton of turnovers tonight (uncharacteristic for the #1 lowest TO team in the league) because of the hacking. It wasn't even a basketball game.......it was hockey or football. Just ridiculous....

They said Jerry Sloan's gameplan was to hack the crap out of the Suns to slow down the game and take them out of their rhythm.....worked like a freaking charm. Too bad it's not entertaining basketball. Send the Jazz to the ABA or WNBA where they belong.

Oh well ... back to earth.

If they had managed to find a way to win this game while giving up 23 offensive rebounds, I think it would have done more damage than good. They can't revert back to being that poor on the defensive glass if they want to keep this winning pace.

I think this loss, like the other 4, will be a blessing in disguise.

We looked tired in this game. We couldn't rebound, play D, or hit shots with any consistency.

Of course it doesn't help when the officials let the Jazz get away with murder and call weak hand checks on the suns. Did Jerry Sloan bribe the officials before this game? UGH

Ah well its one loss. Hopefully we use it like we did the Spurs loss, making it motivation and going on another winning streak.

I guess a lesson learned...

They need this loss before meeting Spurs. They can't give up defensive rebounds like that if they are trailing.

I don't know what to say. I didn't watch the game...

But I feel very shiiiity tonight. Suns lost and Rocket is on FIRE.... holy cow. My poor Mavs... Howard and T-Mac just can't miss at all.

I am going to sleep....

Its one thing if they want to let the teams play physical and not call the slapping but its another when nash get called for several hand checking calls after getting mugged on the other end. at the start of the season noone would have even dreamed of being 31-5 so we'll just have to move on.

LOL, I actually make a game prediction for once and it's wrong.

I watched most of the game, and the Suns' effort on the defensive glass was pathetic. In the third quarter, I don't think the Suns got a single stop until about the 3:00 mark. Given how poorly they rebounded and how well Utah shot, it's amazing that they lost by only single digits.

The good news is that they should be really fired up for Indiana now.

The worst thing is that there are certain teams that are allowed to play this style of basketball no matter how poor the team is or how ugly it makes the game (until fights break out and fans get punched....then this style is bad). It's not even star treatment because their only "star" (ak47) is injured. It's simply the refs allowing the Jazz, Pistons, Lakers, Knicks, Heat, etc to do whatever they want. Utah was 12-24 and they're allowed to play as physical as they want.

Well... it was on their home court. This tells you how important home court advantage is.

When Suns played at Spurs' home court, they got away so much.

This is why when Spurs meet us on our home court, I expect a blowout. If I don't see a 10pt W, I will be disappointed. I know I am asking too much and spoiled but if we want to prove that we are at the same level as Spurs, we need a blowout to show that we can do it to them TOO.

Loss to Jazz is ugly but I would rather win Pacers and Pistons. Jazz won't make it to the playoff on the competitive west. They are just too many games behind.

Of all the teams on this road trip, I want a W against Pistons the most. They were the defending champion and if we can steal a win there, it will boost a lot of confidence and respect.
