Bender looks so much more confident this year. The tools are definitely there.

The key to bender is the jumper, he is almost as tall as porzimgis, more fluid and quicker, he just cant shoot like porzingis.

If he can, it'll be huge, because he can shoot over anybody.

He just needs consistency and rhythm. It's a really nice shot, but too often he is flat.

So far Reed looks like he will be taking Jones' spot on the active team. He is playing good d and can hit the open jumper. Bender looking much better out there as a stretch 4-5. Chriss is looking a little bit more like Amare now and able to finish with contact.

JJ is playing good D, but would like to see him on Held or Fox to see what he can do. Shot is not there and hope he can start getting to the rim. I am sure with better spacing in normal games he will get more opportunities.

Jones and James not doing much yet.

Pleasantly surprised by Reed. Encouraged by Jackson. He didn't fully put everything together in that first half, but he has a presence about him. That's how Booker was his first game. Ennis and Marshall felt like busts almost immediately.

Is it just me or does this seem like a local Sacramento broadcast?

Maybe they're getting it out of the way. Apparently Booker is going to join the broadcast in the 3rd quarter.

Not to overrate the eye test in one meaningless game, but Josh Jackson and Fox both look like MUCH better prospects than Ball. I have been a Lonzo fan, but I am seeing some real red flags...

Perhaps Slin was onto something after all?

Jackson's hitch in his shot is going to cause him problems getting off his shot. He's already been blocked a couple times. Hopefully he can clean it up.

Chriss has bulked up, but a little too quickly. He is a little soft. Hopefully he cuts down before the season.

I almost had forgotten how bad the officiating is in the NBA .

These aren't even NBA caliber officials. They awarded the Kings a free throw for Papagiannis' technical and had to redo everything when they finally realized they gave the shot to the wrong team. Embarrassing

Fox is going to be so good. He has all the talent in the world. Those first two teams in the draft wanting a PG may regret not drafting him.

Bender couldn't back down Fox. Sad. I don't see the upside on him like some on here.
