He might take a few years to develop. Or, he may never develop. Just how it is with bigs.

Tap the brakes.

True. But in the meantime we're without a decent center on the floor when Plum is in foul trouble.

You didn't think that Len outplayed Plumlee tonight? He didn't rack up stats but we were at our best when he was on the court. He finished with a +25, nothing shabby there. He's still a project and anyone expecting him to be more than that at this stage of his career is setting themselves up for disappointment.

Nice W. Always good to start the season by kicking the Lakers' ass. Bledsoe needs to keep emotions a little better in check.

He better not be suspended for the next game vs the Lakers.

I haven't noticed that as a problem in the past. At some point, when some POS superstar is raping you over and again without a call, you do what you have to do. Kobe is going to wear out his welcome with the refs this year. I almost guarantee they'll tire of his cheap shots and constant whining and they'll stop giving him the superstar treatment before long. When that happens, Bryant will start racking up the T's. He should have been tossed last night and tonight.

Agreed!

No harm. If he's going to get himself tossed in a game, this is the type of game to do it. Kobe is a cheap shot punk. Bledsoe did little to get himself ejected. What he should have done was clock kobe in the nose. That he was able to keep himself from doing so deserves praise. I'm not worried about Eric and ejections in the future.

I think he's wearing on his team as well. He acts like a child out there with his tantrums and crying. He shoots endlessly and doesn't even look for his team on the court. I think the league is tired of Kobe Bryant.

It will be fun watching the Lakers fail all year and watching Kobe melt down along with it. Weeeeeeeeeeee!

LOL at Plumlee being a decent center. Been anything but that since the 2nd half of last season and beginning of this season.

I'm confused. We harped on Bledsoe all last season because we thought he was disinterested on the floor and showed no emotion. He gets T'd up twice and shows some fire.....all because the league's most hated player is being a bitch, and we want Bledsoe to check himself? wtf

I for one am glad Bledsoe went off. It shows he has fire. He was beasting all night, and him having enough of Kobe elevated it. It didnt hurt the team. We were up by a ton, against a crap Lakers squad.

Except I want their draft pick in the upcoming draft so a total meltdown is not advisable. It is protected top 5.

If we don't get it this year, we will next. They aren't going to get better any time soon so no worries IMO. I plan to enjoy this and the draft pick will play out. I think the chances they finish outside the bottom 5 this season are slim. More likely we see the pick the following draft.

I completely agree. i'm glad he showed some emotion/fire tonight. He's definitely not a player that rack up Ts in a season.

Solid game, I don't think Goodwin is a rotation player at this point, we already have plenty of guards. We'll see if he plays in the 1st half when Tucker is back.

Goodwin and Tolliver were complete non factors, although Tolliver made a 3 late. Green was a hot mess tonight.
Everyone else looked good I thought. Len and Ennis had solid minutes. Marcus, Bledsoe, and Thomas were amazing.

Goran didn't have a great night but he certainly had a great stretch to help us rebuild our lead.

The best thing is the Scott is a Lakers legend so good chance they won't fire him anytime too soon.

Here come years of Lakers sucking.

Bledsoe's second technical came after Bledsoe collided with Bryant going for a rebound. Bledsoe was bleeding from the face when he left the court.

"You know Eric and Goran, these guys deserve some respect from the calls," Hornacek said. "When these guys are getting s lapped in the face and they're not calling it, then I don't mind a guy getting upset like that."

Bledsoe got smacked in the face and the refs called a jump ball... and that garbage had been going on all night. Kobe screams at refs, shows them up non-stop, a player gets frustrated after Kobe clocks him and its a T on that player. Its idiotic. I don't blame Bledsoe, the refs were coddling to a bastard.

IT looked awesome, the Morrii played well overall but I'm not crazy about Kieff's green light from 3. Bledsoe is easily our best player, and Plumlee looks pretty good with Bledsoe on the court and pretty awful without him, that is a weird dynamic. Len can defend the rim when he is in the right spot, I don't questioned that, I do question what else he can do.

The lineup of Green, Goodwin and Tolliver at the same time was horrendous, they looked drunk out there.

Also, how about Tyler Ennis? The rumors of his worthlessness (despite never having played in a real game or suffering an injury) appear to have been exaggerated. He didn't light it up but he certainly did not remind me of Kendall Marshall. Ennis moves around like a guy who can play in the NBA, Marshall did not.

There was one play in the 3rd, the Lakers are moving the ball around the first about 10 seconds of the clock and Kobe is running around clapping his hands and yelling for the ball, he gets it with about 8 seconds left at the top of the arc, does his dribble wiggle routine trying to go iso, gets no where, chucks up a fadaway 28 foot 3, misses terribly... then glares at his teammates on the way back up court.

Its funny that anyone questions the legitimacy of the quotes in that article last week. Its plain to see in every game that he would be intolerable as a teammate.

Looking at the Lakers schedule a 2-10 start is almost a best case scenario.

Kobe 32 points on 25 shots
Bledsoe, Dragic and Thomas 57 points on 27 shots

He needs 500+ to catch MJ. That's all he cares about.

In regards to Len he needs about 800 minutes. Then we might have some idea what kind of player he can be.
Until then just eat minutes, don't screw it up, and keep working.
I am encouraged by what I saw last night.
