I dislike these sleeved jerseys, and have seen mostly negative comments on the internet about them, even some players complained against it because sleeves kinda bother the shooting mechanich of a player... Whose idea were the jerseys and why are they implemented? Was it just purely economical, so that there are more jersey variations to sell? I don't see who would want to buy it though

Some ideas (George Karl mentioned this) are that the NBA wanted to market more to women, but women don't feel as comfortable wearing regular jerseys.

I don't see how the sleeves can alter the mechanics of a shot, but I can understand comfort being altered.

What I've read is that the NBA thinks more "regular" people will buy them and wear them since they're more like everyday T-shirts. I hate playing basketball with sleeves. I like unfettered movement of my shoulders when shooting. I personally hate the idea of these newfangled sleeved jerseys.

Its stupid really. They will lose a lot of money from these sleeved jerseys cause I highly doubt they are getting the kind of revenue they expected from it.

Here all the All Star jerseys btw

This is a big game for the Suns if they're serious about the Playoffs. I know it's only Jan but there's so many teams fighting for the last couple playoff spots in the west that it's really crucial to beat them on the head to heads.

Why is Tucker not guarding Ellis? Ellis is gonna destroy the Suns like Conley did if we don't put Tucker on him.

We are hanging in there and the twins are doing a real good job offensively. Defensively we are a complete mess though.

Twins keeping us in this game. Plumlee played like crap and a big reason why Dallas went off in that 3rd QTR imo.

Hornacek has the worst plays in the half court offense. Its like a Mike Brown offense...iso ball.

Man why does it feel like every game, a rookie or two on the other team does well and gets minutes while ours sucks and basically warms the bench the whole game.

Which means that we had an undersized Power Forward at Center, a Small Forward at Power Forward and a Shooting Guard at Small Forward for a good part of the 4th quarter. Or, should I say for a bad part of the 4th quarter? Small ball at the three heaviest positions.

Even when Frye and Tucker came back in late in the 4th quarter, all that added was a Small Forward and an oversized 3-point shooter.

And I am not talking about at the end when we were down by three and had five 3-point shooters on the court. That, of course, was a good move for one play.

Even if PJ had sunk his shot from the corner, his foot was on the line and we would have lost by one instead of three.

The good news is, Len managed to log some floor time without getting ejected.

We are just a terrible half court team. Terrible. Nobody that can penetrate other than Dragic.

If we had this same lineup (without Bledsoe) the whole season then, is there any doubt that we would be the worst team in the NBA right and we would all be talking about how exciting the draft will be and how Wiggins or Randle will fit our team right now?

I think Hornacek needs to encourage his players to shoot less, drive more. Frye has shown that he can drive, he needs to do it more. Tucker and Green both have no handles at all so its understandable that they have to stay put and just chuck.

The Morris twins are the only other players on this team that penetrate. I wish everyone else (except for Dragic) would just look at what they do learn and from it.

In today's game Green appeared to be less of a black hole than usual however it seemed every time he passed to anyone it ended up being a turnover. I really think he is one of those good stats on a bad team guy. We aren't that bad but really he is only getting this opportunity due to lack of competition. I think keeping Butler might have been a good move after all. I would gladly have him over Green and Smith, even though Ish has stepped up and been a decent backup PG.

Green and Plums came in the trade of Scola to Indiana. We traded Caron to Milwaukee for Ish and Kravtsov. If you'd rather have him instead of Ish and Green I'm sure you'd rather have him instead of Ish and Slava. We'd probably be somewhat better off this year for not making that trade but I'm still glad we made it. Not only do I like Ish, I still think Slava might make a good backup big.

If Ish could add one offensive weapon (mid range J, floater, long range J) he'd be a fantabulous backup. As is, he manages to make an impact despite being almost a zero threat to score.

I don't agree. You were right all along on Ish. He has value at this level. He needs to be able to make that little 10 foot floater to really capitalize on his ability to penetrate but he's been far better than advertised. I wouldn't even prefer Butler over Green. I don't think he's just putting up useless stats. He's a big part of why we are staying close in all these games. On paper we had a lot more talent last season and we were getting blown out fairly often with that group. As long as Green keeps a healthy team-first attitude he's a steal. I have hopes that Jeff can make him a smarter player. He certainly can't make him any dumber.
