I will concede that the money wasn't the only issue, but I think everything else was just icing on the cake. They were making on court reasons for a move pushed by off court things.
I also agree that Marbury would have been traded within the next 2 or 3 years when it became 100% that Amare was a superstar. Everyone could start to see it before the trade, but it was far from a sure thing. No way Marbury gets traded before Amare is able to take over without the dump.
