Well..after last night's game... I hope the Suns has the energy to beat Wizards 'cause they also had an exciting game last night. Both teams should be tired... hard to say who has more advantage.

Last night, Arenas with 37 and Hughes with 33...

After 3 quarters or before, the Wizards will be grabbing their shorts, just watch!

Still with the game last night, we should see the bench more tonight.
Outlaw, Zarko, & Lampe should all play.

P.S. Look for Amare to score about 30 points!!

Suns haven't really come out flat against anyone yet, no matter if it's back to back or not...but I guess it probably will happen at least once this year.

Let's hope it's not tonight!

Have the Suns lost a back to back yet?

This is a game the Suns could easily lose. The Wizards play in D.C. correct?

That is quite the travel/timezone jump...from Washington to Washington D.C.

We are playing at home and the Wizard played in Los Angeles last night.

Btw

Net +/- stats are the difference between the team's +/- stats with the player on the court and the player off the court.

Amare 10.9
Nash 10.2
Q 10.1
Marion 2.4
JJ -8.4

The Suns are barely outscoring their opponents when either Q, Amare or Nash are on the bench. But when JJ is on the bench they are almost outscoring the other team by twice as much.
Marion's +/- is almost as bad.

I doubt anyone would have guessed that.

Doh! I read a preview of the game and it listed us as playing there. I thought "wow so much for our easy scheduling!"

Should be a fun game to watch/listen to
I too am concerned about tonights game, I feel we either will come out still on a high from last night or kind of drained, it was an emotional game and that can take alot of energy out of a team, the adrenalin could also still be pumping and we could breeze by in this game, I hope thats the case! go suns

If Suns can win this game, then Suns can definitely prove that they are "elite" this year.

This will be a good sign to see how Suns performs in playoffs 'cause the intensity is a lot higher and players get tired more easily.

If Suns can still come out strong, then I believe Suns will have the energy to run in the playoffs.

Wizard is no easy team this year. They have 3 key players that can score consistently. Something tells me Jamison will have a great game tonight.

GO SUNS!!

I'm sure Gilbert Arenas has a little something left for tonight, just in case his college buddies make the trip up from Tucson. :p

Anyway, the Wizards are a team that the Suns should outclass--their tired legs and soft defense should lead to a ton of easy buckets. The main question is whether the Suns are too exhausted from last night to take advantage.

It would be nice if Amare had a bounce-back game. He didn't play up to par in either of the two national TV games.

Should be a good one!

Something tells me Amare wants to take it out on the Wizard tonight. He was clearly pissed off by last night's game when he said that was the worst officiating he's ever had. LOL

Good, light up the fire in your heart Amare. Destroy Wizards!!!

Suns should win. I think they had a longer flight, though, and both teams finished within about fifteen minutes of each other last night.

There will be a lot of pressure on Jamison this game, because it's tough to imagine Arenas and Hughes playing again like they did last night. The Suns also seem to find ways to keep their energy down the stretch no matter what. I can easily see them giving Nash a lot of rest in the first three quarters, holding a little bit of a lead, then playing Nash hard the last 10 minutes, fresh, and putting it away.

Also, don't forget, Amare had a fairly rough game last night. I wouldn't be surprised to see him take off tonight.

Good Win. Amare was really out of it tonight. He didn't get a couple of calls he should've and looked frustrated the rest of the game. Neither team had shot a free throw until 3 minutes left in the 2nd qtr (they just weren't calling fouls and there was a lot of outside shooting).

Hunter had a great game coming in for Stoudemire. Unfortunately Hunter hurt his finger/hand on a dunk towards the end of the game. I don't know the extent of the injury but it looked like he dislocated his finger. Has anyone else heard an update?

Mmmmm... I am in Maryland so they broadcast every Wizard game. I only watched part of the game. I thought the game was out of energy... I can't really explain.

Maybe it's the Suns fans. The whole arena sounds so "empty". LOL People who don't know Suns' record may think Suns is a lottery team. Man, what's wrong with Suns fans? They are having their franchise record but the attendence is weak. :(

I didn't watch the first quarter but Amare didn't play much at all. I thought he was injured. Luckily, he was just in foul trouble.

I try not to criticize Amare too much but sometimes he wasn't really thinking. He already had 4 fouls but he still went after that turnover he did... that's just not smart at all. Luckily Wizard isn't a strong team. If it's against elite teams, he can't foul himself out like that.

And Hunter hurt his hand my dunking... oh great. Hunter's defense was pretty solid which is good.

And Marion brought his A+ game. 36pts, 14 reb, 6 STEALS! Man!

If JJ has another great game tonight, he may have a chance to get Player of the Week but I guess that won't happen now.

Anyway, great win and we should have won this one and we did. :) Now, let's rest a little...

I'm listening to KTAR's post game report and they haven't mentioned anything about Hunter's hand being injured so it's probably not anything serious. They have been talking a lot about Hunter and his great play lately so if he was injured then I'm sure they'd mention it.

Yeah, Hunter got substituted after that dunk. I saw Hunter trying to shake it off. Probably just a minor cut or something.

Oh..and about Barbosa. Is it me or I find him not dribbling that well? There are many times that he almost lost the ball. :( Or maybe Huges has great defense on him... oh well, just a little observation.

I'm pretty sure Hughes leads the league in steals. He caused quite a few loose balls during the game.

I just listened to the game, but it seems like the refs are willing to let opponents mug Amare without ever calling it yet hit him with every ticky tack he does. It has to be terribly frustrating to him, but it is preparation for the playoffs (alas).

Hunter seems to continue to improve. He is already playing a lot better than I expected when he was signed.

I would say that Amare's fouls were legitimate tonight and occured mostly because other people got beat by their man or didn't rotate fast enough. Still, he did get called for fouls that had little contact compared to the contact on the other end when Amare was shooting and no call was made. I don't understand the lack of respect some refs give Amare. Some nights he'll get lots of calls (like early on in the season) and lately it seems like the refs allow him to get mugged everytime in the paint with no calls or only when he misses the shot badly.
