This was just a matter of time and it sucks for him but for the team it's for the best. Not only having the open roster spot but Christmas is 27 so the chance he'd improve to the point of even being a steady backup was slim. I know he got minutes last season that would have been better served going to Archie so I'm glad that isn't the case this season. He was a third string wing player last year and that sort of spot should be taken by someone young with potential as Christmas was pretty much the player he will be. The way that Warren looked in summer league also was impressive and I hope he sees minutes this year backing up Tucker. So really even if Christmas was with the team he would have gotten in the way of Goodwin and Warren's development but I think Warren would have beaten him out for minutes at the SF and perhaps Goodwin could do the same at SG this year.

Get him back as an assistant coach when he hangs up his sneakers.

Maybe we could wish him to the corn field. According to BC, that would be fitting. :p
Yes, I second that emotion! Hey, I'm not the only one.

Give Steve Albert a wireless microphone and let him announce baseball games in the Catskill's between the camp counsellors and the campers. :D

His sense of . . . I can't even call it humor . . . belongs in New York.
