A great backup PG that is shooting like 36% on the season and will probably ask for a contract of at least 6 M$ per season.

Plus is a midget and can't defend anyone.

As long as he's only asking for 6 to 7 million, I'd be thrilled to keep him in Phoenix. I'd rather have a bigger, stronger PG capable of shutting down his opponent but we have enough other needs that we can address if we keep Brooks.

All told, I think that gives us a middle of the road situation at the point guard and a solid combo at the 4 and 5. We need a better backup center than Lopez and a more traditional PF to shore up that spot (whether backup or not) plus we're in need of a huge upgrade at the 2 and a consistent scorer at the small forward spot. We're not likely to fill all our needs this season but if we don't have to worry about PG that makes it a lot more manageable.

How many title winners in recent memory were built around a PG as the primary piece in the last 15 years anyway?

Brooks is a good deal if we can get him for 6 million. It will allow us to spend the money where we really need it.

I liked Kris Humprhies when he still played in Utah. Too bad the Suns could not have figured out a way to get him.

I have no idea what your problem with numbers is but Humphries is averaging 11/12/1 as a starter and not 15/15/2...........

Plus his team has won 23 games...

Anthony Randolph is a young 6'11 PF who was traded for merely a first round pick basically.

In the 2 games he has started in place of Kevin Love he is averaging 28/13/2.5/1.5/1.5 ...

With Randolph, Beasley, and Love, they are going to win more games....However, Randolph is one bony NBA player. He makes Channing Frye look like Shaq.

Nah I said that since he said Humphries isn't good because his team has only won 23 games then Ranolph probably isn't that good either since he's barely won 17.
