Also, Ayton has to recognize that when he’s the #1 scorer, he also has to give similar effort on defense and rebounds. 31 points is great. 7 boards is not

I mean

You wanna go over all the great scorers in this league who don’t play defense?

10 would of been great though

Or Monty had some sense and rode the hot hand in Ayton

When Ayton switched out on defense there was no one to protect the rim. The Suns did not have any answers when he went to the bench.

Landale was not effective at power forward tonight. Suns woes at power forward were again exposed.

I missed this entire game... feel fortunate.
Skipping the game when we're very short handed playing on the second night of a back to back road trip? I'm not sure whether I'd call that fortunate or smart.

We have trailed or lost a lot games by 20+ this season. That’s ugly.

Bridges sucked . . . again

I’m home for the holidays and my Dad keeps recording these early games while I’m working, thinking I’ll want to watch them when I’m done.

I don’t have the heart to tell him I’d much rather watch anything else, even one of the Bob Hearts Abishola reruns that my parents love but usually make me nauseous.

This just feels like a lost season already.

Bridges' stats are not terrible, except he shot 6-15 to get to 17 points.

He had 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and a block with 0 turnovers.

The bigger problem is the Suns are in the midst of a tough 6 game road trip, crippled with injuries and badly in need of an influx of talent, particularly at power forward.

Not sure what happened to him… he’s lost all confidence. No longer seems to be having fun. He’s literally a non-presence… What a bummer.

His slashing to the hoop only to pass up wide open 8 footers is alarming. That’s Ben Simmons type stuff
