there was only ONE year that I came close to winning. I had the right numbers with like 5 minutes left in the Bucs Raiders game and it was a blowout where either team could just milk the clock. I think the Raiders threw a pick 6 with like 5 minutes left to screw me, putting Ouchie in the winner square, laughing and taunting me. And then there was another totally fluke quick strike 70 yard TD to kill his square like a minute later, with only 3 to go.

The taunting and laughing were returned.

I like that 2800 odds on Gronk TD and a win.

I'm pretty bullish on that Bucs rookie WR Johnson. His total yards number and total catches are props I'm looking at.

I also like a Passing and rushing TD from patty today.

Your post prompted me to look into how the Gatorade color is chosen. After all, couldn't the water boy place a huge bet, then choose the color accordingly?

I found an article that said that Gatorade is careful to randomize the colors, and gives each team 2-3 coolers with different colors. So unless the players explicitly choose which cooler to dump based on the color, it's entirely random.

With that in mind, i bet on the one with the longest odds. Blue won for me at +800!

Other winning bets i placed:

Mecole Hardman < 25.5 receiving yards at -120 (he got 4 yards)

Tommy Townsend < 3.5 punts at - 190 (he punted 3 times)

Gronk > 30.5 receiving yards at -130 (he had 67)

Gronk to score a TD at +220 (2)

Betting vs. a friend, I had Tampa Bay and the under.

So i had a good day, but would've been better if one of my 3 small bets on longshots for MVP had come through: Shaq (+3700 and he or someone on the Buccaneers D arguably should've won it!), Fournette (+2700), and Ronald Jones (+4800).

My squares were a bust also.

All relatively small stakes, but added some fun and rooting interest to the game!
