I remembered watching Jennings playing in high school while my daughter was in the marching band. He would look good in Cardinals Red

That's kinda a loser mentality, though. You still build to win and anything can happen to the Niners...injuries, other teams knocking them off (think AZ run to 2008 Super Bowl)...or that 12 year old QB can get a curfew violation.

When you think you have a real shot you do all you can - address all positions - break the bank - leverage the future - but until that becomes a genuine possibilty you keep building - imo

Exactly. We don't need to be writing off next season. I know we can have a losers mindset as Cardinals fans. But, why not go for it? You don't know it can't be done until it's not done.

The Cardinals will not break the bank. That is one thing you don't have to worry about. We could've finished 13-4 and we wouldn't break the bank.

So we have a chance of leapfrogging the lions and beating the whiners next year after depleting the roster this year? We can go for it as trying to win every game no doubt - no more reason to tank - but it's still wild card at best and that's okay
