So if you had to choose, who's the MVP of the Super Bowl?

I think creating 2 T.O's in a game mean quite a bit, but what's your thought on the matter?

*edit*

I sorta forgot the poll, so if we can add that in, great....

*ahem*

My choices were:

Peyton Manning

Bob Sanders

Joseph Addai/Dominic Rhodes

Dwight Freeney

Other

I screwed up by not adding a poll, but please let me know what you thought.

I thought Addai for most of the game, him and Rhoades combined should have gotten co-MVPs just like Simms said.

Ehh.... How could you give it to Rhodes? He is the only guy that in my opinion had a shot. There is no pizazz in that selection though.

Manning is their golden boy. If they win, it almost has to be him.

I want to know how Eli feels....

Addai Rhodes co-MVPs. Addai had what, 150 combined yards and Rhodes 120 on the ground? Together, they pounded the bears into submission, and every time a big first down was needed, it came from one of those two guys.

The MVP should be URLACHER. Without him, the Bears lose by 50.

Anybody still want a FA LB from the Bears? I don't.

Kelvin Hayden seemed to break Chi-town's back with that awesome interception he returned for a TD. If I had to choose I think it would be him. Tough choice though as Peyton, Addai, and Rhodes all had good games as well.

Either co-MVP with Rhodes/Addai, or I'd give it to the entire defense.

They were the Colts' MVP for the post-season, by far.

Dominick Rhodes was ripped off!

Peyton had an average game.

Rhodes should have been the MVP!

Peyton was the sentimental choice. It wasn't an absurd choice, but I felt the RBs would have deserved it more. However, given how much Manning does for the Offense in terms of audibling and play-calling, in addition to some big plays, I can certainly see him getting the MVP.

Peyton Manning.

25/38 247 yds. 1 TD 1 INT 1 Fumble
Countless line calls, audibles, throws on the run, sacked only once.

In a monsoon storm. Quite incredible IMO. I never understand the dislike of Manning. Colts don't win with Grossman. Bears win with Manning.

I don't hate Manning...he's my favorite QB not named Matt Leinart. He had a very good game and I have no problems with him getting the MVP.

I think a Co-MVP with Rhodes and Addai would be more appropriate as they came up big every time it was needed...picking up tons of first downs, keeping the chain moving and the Chicago D on the field. I wouldn't have given it to just Rhodes, or just Addai though. If it had to go to one person, Peyton deserves it for putting up good numbers in terrible weather, and making his usual fantastic playcall adjustments.
