Super Bowl Weather preference?

Just more evidence that the powers that be don't really care about the fan. It's all about the money.

How can you plan an epic event like this with the possibility of having to switch dates and time? It's absurd.

Do I feel sorry for the fans attending? I do for the diehard fans of the representing teams. Not so much for the rich and famous that go because the can.

Goodell is turning into my worst commisioner in the history of the game.

If you dont want to be in cold and snow, dont go to a NJ superbowl. There is a super bowl ever year and most of them are in a dome.

The superbowl isnt about the fans attending the game it is about the two best teams competing for a title.

It's a disgrace to potentially treat you fans that way IMO & I went on a rant earlier this week about the same things. Hey the games gonna be played in bad weather, I get that. But don't **** your fans who've paid thousands of $$$ moving the date because YOU decided to play in bad weather!!!

I disagree with any moving of the game. The game should go on at the appointed time and day regardless of the weather. This opinion is not based on the fans though, its based on thats how football should be played. If the cardinals were in the game, I would watch from home. I would rather go to the caribbean than spend 2k+ to go to a football game.

Especially a football game in new jersey in february.

This is more about the fans than it is the players! Fans are shelling out years of savings in order to attend a game of this magnitude. Why should they be subjected to conditions that don't allow you to relish in the total experience. I have friends that went to the Steelers/Seahawks SB in Detroit. He said the experience was pathetic. The weather shut down any tailgating & the reighborhoods you had to park in were scary.

Because they play this game every year. Dont want to risk the weather? DONT GO. This game should never ever ever be about the fans, the sponsors, the cities, or the halftime show. Its about the teams, the players, the game.

This game is played in inclement weather all the time. Each regular season game is a step toward one thing; a championship. Why preclude that final, most important game of the season from the things that make winter games so exciting?

I think its awesome, and will be watching from the warmth of my apartment.

You arent actually arguing that a fan who spent all this time and money making a visit to the superbowl happen wouldnt pay the 100 dollar ticket fee to change their airfare back home are you? As if theres NO WAY to adjust your weekend to stay on vacation an extra day. The horror!

This is nuts playing in a no roof stadium this time of year. I'd rather watch these talented players playing to there best ability on a clear field. With cheerleaders jumping on the sidelines. I wouldn't go to this one if everything were free!

The absurd thing is the commissioner having the right to change the day of the Super Bowl costing fans hundreds of dollar$ more because he knew bad weather was a possibility years ago when scheduling this. I don't have a problem with the potential for weather, I have a problem with the NFL being able to manipulate gameday for their own benefit.

What if the game was moved to next Saturday, which is a day they have open to move it too if they want? I'm sure you would be fine with that too if you were flying in late Saturday. Hmmm

Final score 3-0 just the kind of game I want to see. We will have perhaps the greatest QB to ever play football and he cannot throw the ball to receivers who cannot run on ice and the QB cannot get a grip on the ball. Do I like sitting out doors with winds blowing 30 mph and the temp at -2? Hell no I do not. I would much prefer to be sitting with the guys in a bar with a 68" big flat screen sucking on a Miller Lite with the temp around 72 degrees. Maybe across the street from the stadium where I can hear the crowd noise for some reality. I might even wear some of my Cards gear since we have turned into a real football team and beat one of the contenders in this game.

Want it to be cold and snowy, an epic disaster that keeps the league in a warm weather rotation until the end of time. Also, an epic NYC failure will make an AZ SB look all that much better next year.

And if it is so cold that they have to amputate a few fingers from Russell Wilson's throwing hand due to hypothermia, so be it. (kidding)

it just amazes me to see how this league and its players have degraded into such ******* over the years,.....and now apparently the fans have become ******* as well.

I would not pay to go to a NY superbowl,...don't like NY....but if I won free tickets, you bet your ass I would go,...and I would sit there in my seat at 20 below zero in 12 inches of snow and love every damned minute of it....why?? Because I AM AT THE SUPER BOWL!!!

It saddens me that so many Cardinals fans can openly demonstrate a truer meaning to the term "Fair Weather Fan"....after sooo many of us sat every week in 120 degrees to watch our team lose,...now we are bitching about the weather at the Super Bowl........amazing.
