There is a rumor floating around the internet and some people say they have confirmed it. All the Lord of the Ring and Harry Potter movies on DVD (both wide screen and full screen) are marked down to $6.00 each at every Target store nationwide today. The prices are not advertised and also not marked, you will have to check it on the price scanner or have a cashier verify for you.

I've never read any of the books or seen any of the movies.

I plan on reading LOTR and eventually watching the DVDs, but no rush.

No interest in Potter.

I was thinking this would be a good X-mas gift for people (Yeah BIM, we know you're done with shopping already). I need to replace the first Potter movie, my baby took a bite of out it. ....and somebody stole my LOTR ROTK movie. I need to catalog and barcode these things

Hobbits are the glorified midgets of the world and they are trying to get the ring of power to Mordor to destory it. They find loss and heartache along the way, but in the end, everything is great and the midgets can feel like they actually belong in the world with the "giants" (normal sized people)

I went today and picked up all LOTR + HP1. They were out of every HP except Sorceror's Stone WS/FS. LOTR was not listed on sale, but all Harry Potter have supposedly been at that price since 11/22 (and will be on sale until 12/5).
