Swine flu halts Ala. high school sports (AP)

The Alabama High School Athletic Association has canceled all athletic events because of concerns about swine flu. Executive director Steve Savarese said Wednesday night he made the decision after consulting with the group's Medical Advisory Committee. The decision means the state track and field championships set for Friday and Saturday at Gulf Shores and Troy will be rescheduled.
