I think he has to be considered, but ONLY if we sign Peyton. We will not have enough under the CAP to go get a legit #2, Peyton, LT, etc. If Peyton is signed here, getting T.O. at close to league minimum is probably the best possible WR we can get for the price. Money will be tight if Peyton is on the books.

Look at it this way:
Kolb being cut takes 8 mill.
Signing T.O. for 1 mill gives us breathing room to sign a LT also.

The money wouldn't completely make up what where cutting Kolb for, but it does significantly help.

what about Moss? He obviously wants back in, and the only team that had him work out will be on double secret probation. He may be a more stable option than TO

More stable may mean more $$$. I'm talking about cheap of cheap with best possible production.

But I do agree. If we can get Moss, I'd do it 10x before I'd sign TO.

agreed on the cost part. It's a wait and see situation for either of em, I'd definitely prefer Moss, but I think this team has enough structure and discipline to control TO too

I dont think any team has enough structure to control TO.

I dont get the lingering facisnation with either TO or Moss. Not only are they both horrific in their locker rooms to the point that teams are dying to get RID of them within one season, but they are not even that talented any more. Moss was aaaaaaaaaaaawful during his last season. TO has been a dropped ball machine for years, and while he put up stats in Cincy it was because he got a billion targets, and that was a year and a half ago... and one blown out knee ago.

Moss might get another NFL job just because of some stupid franchises' morbid curiosity but he wont get paid more than government cheese and probably wont last more than half the season before getting waived.

TO on the other hand... is toast. I would bet ANYTHING that he will never suit up in an NFL game again. Despite what some of his fans might hope, NFL teams are no longer interested in the most overrated and most cancerous player of all time.

Choosing between TO or Moss is like choosing between ghoneria or syphilis.
